God’s Wheels
Published: September 10, 2006In your recent article ‘The End Times According To Daniel … Part One, Chapters 2 and 7’, I came across this sentence; ‘His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.’ – from the Dan. 7:9-10 paragraph.
Why are there wheels on God’s throne? Aren’t wheels a thing we men use to help us move things?
This is God’s throne here. Why does it have wheels?
Pentecostal Denominations
Published: September 9, 2006Can you please explain to me the difference between the Church of God and the Assembly of God Church? Also I understand that the doctrine of the Pentecostals do not adhere to the belief that once saved always saved.
Thank You in advance for any information you can provide.
Rapture Before Ezekiel’s Battle?
Published: September 8, 2006Does the Bible say if the Rapture will happen before the war prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39?
Contacting The Dead
Published: September 7, 2006My wife watches (a well known psychic) on a daytime talk show. I don’t know if you are familiar with her but she is supposed to talk or in some manner make contact with the dead.
I was raised to believe this is wrong but the only scripture I know of that deals with this is the one about Sodom and Gomorrah. She has questions about this verse due to the wording and possible difference in meanings. Can you give me other verses in the Bible that would maybe be clearer on this subject or clarify the wording?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give us.
Post Church Salvation
Published: September 7, 2006RE: Your current article, The Nature Of Post Church Salvation.
Based on your reasoning the Churches of Revelation 2 and 3 would seem to be a part of the “Post – Church” salvation.
Bodies Of Moses And Elijah
Published: September 7, 2006Sometimes I sit here reading articles from your site and I am mesmerized at the depth of insight you have in the Bible. Thank you for an awesome job of sharing the Word.
My question is about the transfiguration of Jesus and in particular about Peter seeing Moses and Elijah. I have a theological conflict with this event. Peter saw these men and recognized them to be Moses and Elijah, which means they had some kind of “body” at that time, yet this was before the crucifixion and the resurrection of Christ, so how is this to be understood? Were Moses and Elijah released from Sheol/Paradise/Abraham’s bosom for a little while, given a recognizable body for a little while, then sent back to Sheol, then released again to be with the Lord after the crucifixion/resurrection?
Animals On The Ark
Published: September 4, 2006I was reading Genesis 7 where God told Noah to take seven of every clean animal and only two of the unclean ones. The Levitical Laws weren’t given until the Israelites were in the Wilderness. How did Noah know which animals were clean and which were not?
Is The Holy Spirit Feminine
Published: September 4, 2006My question regarding the Holy Spirit/Restrainer goes to the actual language used regarding the Holy Spirit.
I’ve heard that the language used refers to the Holy Spirit in a feminine wording or context (not sure how to say it exactly). In creating the family as God did, I can see how that kind of fits. I’ve heard that many people are very set against this, but my question is (if this is true, that the Holy Spirit is spoken of in a feminine sense), “Is the Restrainer spoken of in a feminine sense?”
Personally, I could make a human case for the Holy Spirit being the basis by which females were created, but I realize that is human and I am trying to put a human understanding to God’s business.
Anyway, I thought maybe you could help me since I neither read Greek, nor Hebrew, nor am I any kind of theologian.
Great Tribulation Shortened?
Published: September 3, 2006Thank you very much for your website, I could spend a thousand words describing its blessing in my life. Instead, I have a question. Matthew 24: 15 – 22 Jesus references Daniel specifically, who was precise in his dates and time, and timing. Jesus says “those days” will have to be cut short to preserve creation. What’s the deal here? So Daniel’s prophetic days will be “cut short”? Again, what is the thing that Jesus is saying?
God Richly Bless You and Yours!
