I was wondering what the words “he who overcomes” mean when Jesus was addressing the churches in Revelation. What does it mean in the original language? Some say it is one who is born again. Or, does it mean whoever overcomes the problem Jesus is addressing to that particular church?

Who of us is an overcomer? I am really trying to listen to the Holy Spirit as He nudges me but most of all I hold tight to the righteousness given to me by the Lord by accepting Christ’s gift of salvation.

Is it right to ask Jesus to come into my heart or do I just confess Jesus as Lord and what He did on the cross? I was told it is wrong to ask Jesus to come into my heart, as a prayer of salvation and that it is not Biblical. Thank you

Where in the Bible can I find answers to why so many ministers today are going through so many trials and roadblocks as they try to preach the Gospel and lead their churches? Isn’t there a verse that talks about the trials and testing we go through the closer our walk is with Christ?

Does the Lord say anywhere about the enemies of Israel fighting amongst themselves? I was thinking about how the Sunnis and Shias are at war with each other but are still enemies of Israel.

I also have read recently about Russia deploying the Air-Defense Systems to Iran to protect their uranium testing which is worrisome in itself.

Also, the U.S. now says that it will speak with Iran and Syria about the current Iraq situation. Do you think that this could lead to discussions about the U.S. abandoning Israel to it’s enemies?

In Revelation 6, the rider on the white horse had a bow. We know that Ishmael was identified as an archer in Genesis 21:20. Could the current “Islamization” that is taking place in Europe result in an Islamic Antichrist?

I have a time line problem with the Ezekiel 38 battle and the advent of the Antichrist. How this two events relate to each other? What confuse me is, that the Jews will burn the weapons 7 years long after this battle and they will be preoccupied with the burials too. If this battle will kick off the 70th week of Daniel and/or around this time will the AC appear with his 7 year peace treaty, than there will be no time to burn this weapons 7 years long because after 3 and a half years,the Jews will flee.

Because of the 7 years long weapon burning, I don’t think this battle will occur after the AC’s peace treaty or am I wrong? And the Bible says Israel will feel herself safe when the Ezekiel 38 battle begin. But current political events seems to set the stage for the peace treaty,not the Ezekiel battle.(It’s true that this battle’s participants are here and forming too.)And without this peace treaty I couldn’t imagine that they would feel safe in any degree. So,I’m very confused.

In First Timothy Chapter 3, Paul lays out qualifications for Deacons. I need a precise explanation of what it means to be a husband of one wife. I also need biblical grounds to defend my explanation.

You said that the office of prophet is no more but the gift of prophecy is still here. Do we know of anyone who has this gift? How does this gift work and how do we know it when we see it? Being these are the end times, I am leery of anyone with a new idea.
