Rapturing The Pre-Born

Published: September 17, 2007
Q

How is the Lord going to work out the rapture of all the pregnant women at the moment of the rapture? Will He separate the mother from the fetus and advance the fetus to adult status, or what? What do you think about this? I guess He could let them come to term while we are having ‘our time locked away with the bridegroom’, but I am not sure; neither am I aware of any Scripture relating to this.

Your site continues to supply me with many blessings and knowledge and wisdom and I thank you for this and pray for Father to bless you and yours greatly in Jesus name, Amen!

How Should I Pray About This?

Published: September 16, 2007
Q

Thank you for the best site on the web!

I really could use some insight and I pray by the grace of God, that you are able to offer some wisdom on prayer. My son who is with the 101st Airborne Division is leaving for his second deployment in Iraq. I am oppressed and depressed and it seems I do not know how to pray concerning his safety. My husband also served with the 101st Airborne Division and died in Viet Nam in 1966. When I try to pray I am bombarded by such awful memories and questions. My prayers for my son have become tears replacing words, as I do not know how to pray about this. Can you offer any advice? Thank you and may God continue to bless you in all you share with us.

Destroying Jewish Towns

Q

Thank you for your insight and inspiring articles. I really enjoy your website and the mp3 Bible studies are awesome!

I was reading an article entitled “Israel Agrees to Destroy Jewish Towns, Starting in November.” This article really disturbs me. It seems that Olmert is “selling out” Israel. This man seems to be nothing but evil, working against the Jews who he should be supporting and having their best interest at heart. What is your take on this?

Our world is in such a mess. I pray every day that “today” will be the day Jesus comes in the clouds to take his children home!

What’s The Point Again?

Q

If we cannot achieve a perfect life in this earth no matter how hard we try, What is the point of getting closer to perfect than the one still with imperfection? Both are basically imperfect! Anticipating your answer. Thanks.

Repent And Be Saved, Again

Published: September 14, 2007
Q

Recently I heard someone say that you must receive Jesus Christ into your heart and repent of your sins in order to be saved. Ex. John 1:12 Yet there are many verses in the bible where it tells us to just believe Ex.Rom. 10:9 John.6:29 which you wrote an excellent article on.I think the thief beside Jesus when he was crucified only believed that he was God. Please share some of you expert knowledge on this.

Ailing Friendship

How would you cope with an ailing friendship, when you are unsure of whether you should hold on? Letting go seems like you are not trying to hold on hard enough, but holding on might make things worse.

The Fig Tree And Matt. 24

Published: September 13, 2007
Q

I recently heard a new “take” on the fig tree mentioned in the olivet discourse and to me this looks like the most scripturally grounded, the author keys points were these:

“What does the fig tree represent? Does it represent the nation Israel? What does the putting forth leaves represent? Does it speak of Israel’s becoming a nation in 1948? Does the budding of the fig tree mean that we can approximate the time of the rapture? How can we know the correct interpretation?”

I know that while you do not believe Israel is the fig tree in mentioned here, you do believe that the generation that sees the “nationhood” of Israel will be likely to witness the 2nd coming, but where is the scriptural proof that Israel becoming a nation was the starting point of “the signs” based on Matthew 24? So far, you have been the best at explaining your position, but are this author’s points valid? As always, your insight into this interpretation will be greatly appreciated.

War With Syria?

Published: September 13, 2007
Q

We have been watching with great interest the developments in the Mid East this past week in connection with Israeli intrusion into Syrian airspace. Do you think this intrusion might lead to war? We would appreciate it if you could write an article on Isa. 17 and Damascus in view of all the things that are happening in the Mid East. I know you wrote an article in the fall of 2006 regarding this, but a lot has happened since then. Please give us a new perspective on what you feel Isa.17 means as of today. Do you think the destruction of Damascus is in the immediate future?

Satan In Our Minds, Follow-Up

Published: September 12, 2007
Q

In response to what you wrote in ‘Satan in our minds’, I was wondering how Satan has access to our thoughts and deeds if he isn’t omniscient or omnipresent.

In following on from this thought, I have also begun to wonder whether Satan is allowed by God, to be physically in the presence of believers – or whether having ‘Christ within’ prevents him from doing so.

Responding To An Atheist

Published: September 11, 2007
Q

I have been speaking to a friend online and he is an atheist. His last comment to me was this:

“Saviour? why do religious people think we all need saving? my life is great. I make my own destiny and my heaven is right here and now. why do you need saving?”

Can you please advise how I can answer this without sounding really uncool and preachy?
