I really appreciate your site and the way God is using it to help His people understand His Word. I’ll ask this question because if I don’t, someone else will.

When I saw the charismatic candidate rising in popularity I thought he would be like the last one of his party. When or if elected he would just serve his term(s) and do his damage and fade away, but now I wonder. He is practically worshiped in Europe and has done nothing but talk yet.

The infamous dictator of the last century was worshiped in his own country but only after he did temporarily help his country’s economic problems (albeit through war).

I thought I understood the Bible’s prediction concerning the nationality of the final world dictator but I find myself wondering if I could possibly have misunderstood especially in light of the recent apparent acceleration in prophetic events in the world. In your opinion is this man qualified only to be a type by Bible restrictions or is it possible he is the one?

I have a speculation on the woman (wicked) placed in the basket covered with a lead seal and taken to the plains of Shinar. Could it be the United Nations? Folks in New York would love to get rid of those guys.

We have to remember that the world will see the two prophets testifying in Israel during the tribulation. Without today’s technology, we would not be able to do this, which leads me to believe that EMPs won’t be used.

However, we know that Psalms 83 and Isaiah 17 will occur, which leads me to believe that bombs and nuclear power will be used on nuclear facilities in Iran and Damascus will cease to exist. I pray that I will not be here when this occurs. Jesus, Please Come.

I have a question about speaking in tongues (Praying in the Spirit). Do you believe in praying in the Spirit just in your room? Not in front of other people? Paul, the apostle spoke in tongues according to the book of Corinthians.

If Iran has the capability to do this (EMP attack) over the US, then we certainly have the same capability. Instead of Israel and/or the US striking Iran with bombs and nuclear power, killing masses of people, why would Israel or the US not make these enemies useless by launching EMPs over the rogue nations threatening to destroy Israel and the west such as Iran and Syria? I understand it would bring down all communication and technical systems setting countries back for decades. At least the people would have a fighting chance for survival.

Why don’t the Arab oil producers just cut off the oil supply to the US and the West and bring us down? Is it because they would not have enough money to continue their terrorist operations? Isn’t it ironic that for every barrel of oil we/west purchase, the wealth is used funding terrorists against those considered infidels? Oil is what makes the world function, so why would it not be used to bring the world to a halt. The wealth from oil has produced much evil. What do you think?

In regard to the article “Did Tongues Cease”, I concur with your answer. I was raised to believe that they had ceased but did not see how my pastor/teachers arrived at their conclusion using the texts that are commonly used to support this belief.

However, I do believe that the Greek supports the idea that the gift given in apostolic times was a “known earthly language” being spoken for the furtherance of the gospel as well as a sign of it’s authority as being given from God. I don’t think the “gift of tongues” used today falls under that category.

Scripturally, how do you perceive the gift was used then in contrast to now? Is it still a known earthly language? If not, how does the gift edify the body today, especially if everyone present already speaks and understands the same earthly language?

I recently listened to a Catholic talk show because a known former Catholic and now born again Christian was invited on it. The host brought up the fact that Christ’s suffering was lacking by, I feel, misquoting Colossians 1:24. Please speak on this verse for me. And thank you for all the hard work and time you put into this site.

I urge you to prayerfully reconsider your advice that a Christian should go to a gay wedding. How can a Christian celebrate something that is an abomination to God? How could one even congratulate this sin? There are many ways to show Christian love to someone involved in the sin of homosexuality, but I can’t believe that attending a so-called wedding is one of them. Isn’t it more loving not to attend?

Could you please explain why you believe there will be many catholics saved in the rapture?
