The Ark And The 2nd Temple
Published: November 10, 2008Thank you for this site. What happened to Aaron’s rod and the manna in the ark of the covenant (1 Kings 8:9)?
Also, I read somewhere that the Roman general Titus entered the Holy of Holies before the second temple was destroyed and was surprised because all he found was an empty room. The account I read by Josephus, however, simply states that a Roman soldier threw a torch at the temple, and it went up in flames. I figure that Titus wouldn’t have been struck dead because God’s glory had already departed. What are your thoughts on these?
The Time Of The Anti Christ, Follow Up
Published: November 10, 2008My question comes from reading the last sentence of your question titled The Time Of The Anti Christ. When you say that “There will no doubt be “Christians” in the world at that time (after the rapture) because the disappearance of the “Church” will bring fence sitters to faith.” Are you therefore saying that those who come to believe during the tribulation will also be called Christians although they will not be part of the church? I guess I always thought of them as “tribulation saints”, and the Church as Christians. Therefore all that believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died for their sins are all called Christians (John 3:16) even though they are not part of the church?
Is The Catholic Church A Cult?
Published: November 9, 2008I am not Catholic, but I have read several books that consider them cults, just like Mormons, Scientology etc. What is your take on this?
New Testament Restoration
Published: November 8, 2008Our friends recently cut all ties with us when we did not attend a New Testament Restoration Meeting. One of the topics was celebrating the Lord’s Supper as a full meal every Sunday. We are not convinced that the Lord’s supper must be a full meal, celebrated weekly. With the emphasis on ‘must be’. The full meal part is a concern because the preparation and menu have the potential of distracting from the remembrance of all that Jesus did for us. We are startled to think that our friendship has been destroyed over this topic. Any thoughts?
Another Sabbath Year?
Published: November 8, 2008Thank you for letting your light shine. I believe your ministry is a beacon of light for believers to see so they can stay the course!
As we can all see, the course is coming to a very sudden end. My question is about sabbatical cycles. I recently heard that Daniels 70th week has to start at the beginning of a sabbatical week. This year was the beginning of a sabbatical cycle so if it didn’t start this year, the soonest it could start would be in another 7 years. At the rate that prophecy is being fulfilled on a daily basis, I can’t see this dragging out another 7 years? Any opinion?
Married, or Not?
Published: November 7, 2008I absolutely love your site and have told everyone I know about it. My question is, I know that Jesus died for us so that we may be forgiven. I have been with my fiance for 6 years and lived together for 4 and we have 2 children together. We basically feel married. We want to get married but I don’t want to rush down to the court house, that’s not really what every little girl dreams of.
So anyway we’re going to get married, we have 2 kids, and we live together. I now have turned my life around and came back to Christ but do not feel like I need to leave Him cause we’re not married yet. Do you think I would not make it in the rapture or go to heaven for this reason? I have a relationship with God and try to do everything else right. I also ask for forgiveness all the time. But will I be forgiven even if I know I will commit the same sin again(in my case sex before marriage). I do feel guilty all the time, but I know that that’s the devil trying to make me feel unworthy of God’s grace. Whats your perspective?
Understanding Ecclesiastes 3:11
Published: November 6, 2008Can you please explain to me what does Ecclesiastes 3: 11 mean?
Understanding Rev. 5
Published: November 6, 2008Re: Rev. Chapter 5. Below is a copy of your sentence: You have made them (us) to be a kingdom (kings) and priests to serve our God, and they (we) will reign on the earth.” (Rev. 5:10)
Since this chapter is before the opening of the scroll I am questioning the meaning. Is this the 1,000 year reign when He will return with his saints? Is it “all” the redeemed who will reign? (I somehow cannot visualize that sense). Who are the people on earth at the time?
Thoughts On The Election
Published: November 6, 2008was wondering what you think Obama becoming President means for Bible prophecy if anything. There seems to be a lot of fear going around that him getting elected is somehow going to be the catalyst that sets everything in motion but I don’t see it. I’m not saying I’m glad he’s President but there seems to be a lot of extreme reactions on both sides and I was just wondering what your take on everything is. God Bless.
666, Evil Or Divine?
Published: November 6, 2008I’ve just seen a book that claims to put to naught all the evil associated with the number 666. This book says that 666 is actually the number of divine harmony and is the blueprint of the world, the key to all existence. Seems odd, don’t you think?
