The Holy People Of Matt 27:52-53
Published: April 16, 2009I have a question concerning Matt 27:52,53. Will these resurrected saints die again? I don’t think they’re in heaven yet, but I’m not sure what took place.
They apparently had physical bodies and were recognizable to others per their “appearance unto many”, but what is their disposition until the final judgment?
Is The Rapture A Number Specific Event?
Published: April 15, 2009First of all, I thank God for making your knowledge and understanding available to the body of Christ and thank you for giving your time and energy to this excellent ministry. Now to my question.
I have heard and read many times that the timing of the rapture is based on the completion of the church, whatever number God decides is complete. This explanation has always seemed arbitrary to me and God is anything but arbitrary. Also, I’m not aware of any scripture that says this or even hints at it. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
The Fate Of False Teachers
Published: April 15, 2009What do you interpret the bible as saying the fate will be for those pastors/ministers, etc. who knowingly, enthusiastically teach false doctrine and who are leading their sheep astray into the world church movement, especially those who say the bible/christianity needs to be re-written? Is this not sin against the holy sprit?
Earth: Restoration Or Judgment?
Published: April 14, 2009I read your article on Magnetic Pole Shift written in ’06. It is very interesting. A couple of questions please.
Is the article referring to the restoration on earth to its original position? What about the restoration on the vapor rind around the earth? Am I getting the restoration of earth and the judgment of earth mixed up?
No Salvation After The Rapture?
Published: April 14, 2009According to Romans 11:25, “For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, of this secret — that ye may not be wise in your own conceits — that hardness in part to Israel hath happened till the fulness of the nations may come in;” (YLT). Surely, if the fulness of the nations (or gentiles), will come in before Israel comes to Christ, there can be no salvation for the gentiles after the rapture.
Where Do We Go After Death?
Published: April 14, 2009I read that one remains in the grave until the rapture. If this is so why did Jesus say to the robber – today you will be with me in paradise. Is paradise another place? And when the poor man died he went to a place where Abraham was and they were talking and so on?
How Long Did The Jews Suffer In Egypt?
Published: April 13, 2009In my weekly bible study class, we were told the Jews were only in Egypt for 210 years and of that time only 80 some years were in hard labor, not the 400 years as I had always been taught. Is this correct?
Looking Upon The Unsaved Dead
Published: April 13, 2009Your series from Isaiah was very interesting. Thanks for all the effort you must have put into it.
I read in Isaiah not long ago where, I think during the millennium, that people will walk past the burning lake of fire, and will look at those suffering and be reminded of what happens to those who don’t accept god’s grace. It’s in Isaiah 66:24 and you quoted it at the end of the conclusion.
Do we have to look at this? I don’t care to see it myself.
Did God Judge The Sea Creatures?
Published: April 12, 2009Why did God not judge the sea creatures when the whole earth was defiled because of the wickedness of man (Genesis 6:5, 17-20). Is it because Noah’s ark was the first ship that was built upon the earth so that the seas were undefiled by the presence of man over it? And also in those days the sea and the land were separated perfectly during the creation of the earth. God had the whole waters under the heaven gathered together in one place and then there was one dry land.
He called the dry land “Earth”, the other part which was “the gathering together of waters He called Seas” (Gen 1:9-10). Does the fall at the garden of Eden and the resultant curse is only upon the dry land ‘the Earth’ and not on the sea and the creatures that live in it (Gen 3:17-19). If this is right, why did the word of God say, “…the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together [with man] until now..” (Rom 8:22) which includes the Sea and its creatures?
How Did Rahab Escape?
Published: April 12, 2009Just like many others, I feel inclined to start this e-mail by thanking you for your ministry and for your dedication to digging deeper and helping others come to a better understanding of the Lord and His Word. Also, thanks for the answers you’ve provided to the questions I’ve already asked you; they were quite helpful. The thing that has me thoroughly confused today is Rahab’s house, described in Joshua 2:15, which says “Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the city wall; she dwelt on the wall.”
You can probably see where this question is going. How did the Israelites spare the lives of Rahab and her family if they were inside of a house on top of a wall that collapsed right before the city was defeated?
