Two Temples In Zechariah

Published: August 26, 2010
Q

I came across Zechariah 1: 16 “Therefore thus said the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, said the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth on Jerusalem.” I found your explanation of Shiloh as the home of the 3rd Temple really interesting especially how it would leverage peace between the Muslim and Jewish people. How does this fit with the above verse in Zechariah? Also, thank you for the post on July 14 on ‘Restoring Planet Earth’ it was awesome.

Restricted to New Jerusalem?

Published: August 25, 2010
Q

I’m sure the New Jerusalem is awesome beyond comprehension. At first, a part of me wants to be a little unsure about it because I have thoughts of somehow being restricted to it and not having the freedom to explore the Universe. I keep telling myself that I will be in such awe and amazement just being in the presence of my Lord Jesus that I will be totally satisfied in every way and not concerned with anything else.

Gentiles In The Millennium

Published: August 24, 2010
Q

Thank you for the great articles. I learn something new or have something reinforced every time I read them.

Will Gentiles be alive at the end of the Tribulation and enter into the Millennium or will it be only the Jews who enter?

Messianic Jews And The 144,000

Published: August 24, 2010
Q

First I’d like to say I love your site. The questions are often ones I’d have asked myself, and your answers are enlightening. You have really been a blessing in my expanded knowledge and understanding of the Bible. On another website there was an article concerning the number of Messanic Jews in Israel and the US. The numbers were 50,000 something in Israel and around 350,000 in the US

Is Cremation Wrong?

Published: August 24, 2010
Q

Thanks again for all your teaching. I have a question on cremation. Does it go against biblical teaching? In a recent Bible study one scripture used against cremation was Amos 2:1. The teacher said we would bring punishment from God. And it really amounted to people being cremated out of greed of money because it is a lot cheaper than a traditional funeral.

What Happens On Earth After The Rapture?

Published: August 23, 2010
Q

I love your web site and have learned so much. My question is about the people left here after the Rapture. Who will minister to them if all the pastors, Christian leaders and we who attempted to save souls while here, are gone? Is this where the Elect are used and who is the Elect? What will be happening here in the US during the tribulation and will it be similar to what is occurring in Israel?

Why Do The Dead Rise First?

Published: August 22, 2010
Q

I am wondering, if once we die we go immediately to Heaven, then what does it mean when the bible states in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, ‘For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.’ I understand that this is regarding the Rapture, but if deceased believers have already gone directly to Heaven then why would the ‘dead in Christ’ need to be raised up at the time of the Rapture?

The Second Coming

Published: August 21, 2010
Q

Thanks for your web site, which is so informative. I was reading an interpretation of Matthew 24:26 which said that the desert in this passage indicated Islam (Prophet from the Desert) and the Inner Rooms referred to Catholicism (the Vatican having over a 1,000 rooms) what would your view on this be please?

Earth Without Believers?

Published: August 19, 2010
Q

I’m writing to clear something up, in connection to a question you answered about resurrection: “At the rapture, all believers who have previously died will be resurrected. This will leave the world completely devoid of believers for a time.”

I’m possibly misinterpreting the context, (apologies in advance if I am), but during the tribulation, wouldn’t many become believers (Tribulation saints). There would also be the 144,000 Jewish witnesses that would be spreading the WORD throughout the world; impervious to Anti-Christ’s attempts to get them out of the way. Either way, even as bad as things are bound to get, it sounds like there will be some evangelical influence, even during that horrific period.

Turkey And The New Testament

Q

We have a question, please. We saw on a show on TV that one of the books of the Bible was written in TURKEY, could you tell us please which one that would be?
