Still More Follow Up On “Married Or Not”
Published: September 15, 2010Thank you for your website, I check my emails every day for Grace Thru Faith. I have a question about the Q&A the other day “Married or Not? ” Did you mean that all marriages in the world that don’t involve a believer are not approved by God? Since God began marriage in Genesis for many good reasons, like being the foundation of society, and the best way to have and raise children, wouldn’t He be glad people are making use of His good idea even if they aren’t saved?
Our country was blessed when living by God’s principles even though most of the people weren’t saved. Doesn’t 1 Cor. 7:14 mean that the unsaved one in the marriage, and the children are set apart for some blessings from the Lord because there is a saved person in the family praying for them and being a testimony to them?
Are We To Work For A United World?
Published: September 15, 2010I’ve only just now heard of the Bilderbergers and their theorized attempts to enact a world government. Should I view this group and other groups that have the same intent as sinister groups automatically? Are we as believers urged by Scripture to not aide or engage attempts to unite the world?
Did They Go To Heaven Or Paradise?
Published: September 14, 2010It is my understanding that OT Saints went to paradise when they died and that they did not go to Heaven until after Christ’s resurrection. Yet, an OT Saint was “snatched” away (raptured). Did he go to heaven before Christ ascended to sit at the right hand of God? What about the Thief of the Cross? Did he go to Paradise or Heaven?
A Famine Of The Word, Follow Up
Published: September 14, 2010Your answer to a reader’s question about the coming famine of the Lord’s word urged me to further pursue the matter. We have been searching high & low for a Biblically sound church to attend in our area, with no success. It would seem that there is a growing famine within the church right now. I’ve witnessed pastors plagiarizing sermons of others, mini sermonettes that bear little resemblance to Bible doctrine, rock & roll bands that sound hideous, church services that preach what people want to hear, and not the Bible. This is distressing, to say the least. I’m sure there are many out there that are nodding their heads in agreement. What are your thoughts?
Married Or Not? More Follow Up
Published: September 13, 2010I found your website 9 months ago and look forward to reading it on a daily basis. It is awesome and have learned so much. However I have to disagree with you on your stand on living together without being married.. How do you explain what the bible says that fornicators will not enter the kingdom on God? Also, since fallen angels had sex with mortal women, and we will be like the angels, does that not mean that when we go to heaven, we will also have sex?
End Times Revival?
Published: September 12, 2010A group of us have made it a habit to meet regularly due to our love of Christ and interest in the end times. However, I have some concerns about the majority expectation that we will receive a latter blessing which surpasses the miracles Christ did (how does one surpass bringing someone back to life?!). My interpretation of Joel and other passages leads me to believe this blessing will accompany Christ’s return to earth at the millennium. My friends think we are expecting this blessing any minute for the true church and that we will be responsible for converting thousands to Christ in the end times.
Rosh Hashanah Rapture?
Published: September 11, 2010Some Messianic Jewish teachers and lay individuals teach that during Feast of Trumpets at a certain point in time the Lord will initiate the Rapture of the Church. Can the Church, predominantly gentile, assume the Rapture will occur at some point during that appointed Jewish feast?
Married Or Not, Follow Up
Published: September 11, 2010In the question “Are they married or not?” you said: “Some people who don’t have licenses are married in the eyes of the Lord and others who do are not.” Could you clarify what you mean at the end of the sentence?
Do you mean people who do not involve God in their ceremony (ie just going to a justice of the peace, or using some other religion, etc), or do you mean people who aren’t really committed to the marriage in their hearts (if so would that be if they weren’t even in the beginning or is it just if they are no longer, or maybe in cases of forced or arranged marriages, or marriages of convenience)?
I would think that even if people didn’t make the promise to God specifically, their vow to each other would still stand and He would consider them married.
The Great White Throne Judgment
Published: September 9, 2010Rev. 20:12 says “And the books were opened”. Books is more than one so I take it as 2, the book of the saved and the one of them not saved. But then it says ANOTHER book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Please explain the different books and why there are more than 2 etc.
Rev. 6 And The Magnetic Polar Reversals
Published: September 8, 2010Could you explain what you were referring to when you stated in one of your answers that the 6th seal in Rev. 6 could occur in 2012? The person who sent in the question to which you replied, also agreed that the 6th seal could happen during that year. What is prompting you to say that?
