After The Tribulation
Published: January 29, 2011I have heard that after the tribulation, people who have become Christians will enter eternity as mortal people and will continue to live mortal lives, being sustained by the tree of life. New life will be perpetual in this sense. If this is not true, how are they changed or transformed after the tribulation?
Born Again Catholics?
Published: January 28, 2011I know there are some Roman Catholics who get saved according to the Biblical way, which is through Jesus Christ alone. I believe that once a Roman Catholic gets saved, they must leave the Roman Catholic Church because they can’t believe both the RCC and the Bible, and remaining in the religion condones it. And I also believe that if they don’t leave then they haven’t truly been converted. I’d like to know what your opinion on that is.
Confirmed By The Holy Spirit?
Published: January 27, 2011How is that so many people use the “confirmed by the Holy Spirit” line yet couldn’t be farther apart in their “answers”. A lot of people “confess” Jesus with their mouths, which I understand comes from our Father, but yet have so many different answers to life in general, which they all back up with Scripture and “confirmation” of the Holy Spirit. This “confirmation” of the Holy Spirit has me bewildered. I could be naive, but I didn’t think or believe it was possible for “true” believers to have a Holy Spirit “confirmation” and have two different answers. Am I missing something here?
Will “Old” Jerusalem Survive?
Published: January 26, 2011Will there be an ‘old’ Jerusalem in Israel during the millennium, since there is a New Jerusalem for the saints to live in?
Jews, Gentiles, And The Church
Published: January 25, 2011I was reading an answer from a reader about where the Jews and other believers would be. I understood you to say, the Jews would be in Israel and the rest in the New Jerusalem. I think I’m confused about New Jerusalem and Heaven. Are they the same? If there is a separation, why, since the Jews have accepted Jesus as their messiah.
Eternal Life For The Jews
Published: January 24, 2011You say the Jews will live in the Millennium under the Messiah, and then go on to their eternal destiny in what we call Israel. Will these Jews have eternal life? Will they go to Heaven when they die if they are faithful to Messiah? You say their fate is different from the Church, but do they have eternal life, or is that not stated?
Didn’t Israel Have To Repent First?
Published: January 24, 2011I have a question and would like you to answer it, please. I understood the Jews should not be entitled to Israel until they repent. Are they suppose to be occupying Israel now with unrepentence? Or did they not need to repent before they went back to occupy Israel?
Bible Prophecy
Published: January 23, 2011When studying prophetic books of the OT is there an easy way to know which prophecies have already been fulfilled in the past and which have not if its not real obvious, without being a history buff or theologian? Do Bible dictionaries and commentaries help with that? Any suggestions?
Unworthy For Communion?
Published: January 22, 2011Could you please tell me where it is found that you must be a Christian to take communion? 1 Corinthians 11:29 says, “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily eateth and drinketh damnation to himself not discerning the Lords body.”
Does this mean that you must be a Christian? I’m asking because a young friend of mine thinks that it is ok to partake in communion as long as you believe in God, and knew of a person who did partake in communion just to please his wife. And this young friend of mine needs scripture to back up anything I or anyone else tells her. I tried to tell her that my husband believes in God but is not yet serving him, so it would be wrong for him to participate.
2300 Or 1150?
Published: January 21, 2011I’ve listened to your MP3 Bible study on the Book of Daniel. I’m not a mathematician and therefore have a problem understanding how you came up with 1150 days by dividing 2300 evenings and 2300 mornings. In the New King James version it is describe as 2300 days ( Lit. evening – morning). I understand that from the creation, God and Israel go by starting the day from sunset to the next sunset. 1 evening + 1 morning is 1 day.
