Another Rapture Date?
Published: October 12, 2011You have pointed out that according to the bible, the years are 360 days long. You also pointed out that it is highly possible that the second coming of Christ will happen during Rosh Hashanah 2018. Now, computer projections tell us Rosh Hashanah 2018 will be September 9-11. So, if we assume Christ will come no later than the last day of Rosh Hashanah, 9/11/18, and we know that the Church must be gone before Daniel’s 70th week and the 7 year tribulation period, doesn’t it make sense that the Church must be raptured on or before October 18, 2011 (which is 2520 days prior to 9/11/18, and takes into account 2 leap years)?
Are Messianic Jews Part Of The Church?
Published: October 10, 2011Can you clarify if converted Jews that are now part of the church are supposed to keep the law? I’m not referring to the sacrifices, but to the feasts, kosher eating, observance of the Jewish calendar. Some family members who are Christian are now part of a Messianic congregation and they acknowledge salvation through Jesus, are now only eating kosher, keeping their feasts, and say we are drafted into Israel and the early church members were Jews that still kept all of that.
More On The Coming Temple
Published: October 10, 2011If I understand correctly, the third temple that is to be built seems so pivotal in the last days and 7 year tribulation. Is it the anti-Christ that gives the order or approval after the signing of the peace treaty to begin building the third temple? How long could it take to build this third temple with expected work crews that could be available? If it takes 20 years to build the third temple, does that move the possibility of the Rapture further ahead as well?
More On Pentecost And The Rapture
Published: October 7, 2011I know we’ve chatted before about the Rapture occurring on Pentecost, and I’ve read the great article you wrote on the subject. But I still think the Lord showed me the Rapture will happen on Pentecost. I continue to agree with you that the Rapture may be a number-specific event not tied to a Feast, but it seems to me that there’s some unfinished business with Pentecost.
Syria Threatens Tel Aviv
Published: October 6, 2011I read in DEBKAfile where Pres. Assad has threatened to flatten Tel Aviv if Turkey or NATO try to intervene in his efforts to put down the rebellion in Syria. Apparently Hezbollah and Iran have agreed to help. How does this fit into the End Times Scenario?
Is Israel Breaking The Law?
Published: October 6, 2011I was wondering if you could give me some insight on the present crisis concerning Israel and the Palestinians. Many of us in our church are supporters of Israel and long for the world to recognize its right to the land that God gave them. There are a few, though, who argue that it is illegal to build on land that has been taken in war – as declared by the Geneva convention. This confuses me as I know God’s law is higher than man made law, but how is it OK for Israel to break the law when we expect other countries to abide by it?
John The Baptist And The Essenes
Published: October 4, 2011I was reading your answer titled One Messiah Or Two. It was well written. Can I ask you why you think John the Baptist was hanging out with Essenes?
Judges, Kings, and Priests
Published: October 1, 2011Re: Rev. 20:1-6. Who are the ones who received authority to judge in Rev. 20:4? And who are the saints who will be priests of God and will rule with Him for the millennium in Rev. 20:6? Are these saints some members from the raptured Church, like pastors of today? If so, won’t the Church will be on earth during the millennium?
The Potter And The Clay
Published: September 30, 2011I have a question concerning the topic of first mention. I have heard that with the potter and the clay (Romans 9) that it actually refers to service that GOD has you do for him and not to salvation like the Calvinists believe. Could you please shed some light on this and possibly look at the potter and the clay in light of the topic of first mention.
More On The Partial Rapture Theory
Published: September 29, 2011In Revelation, only the Philadelphia church was told they would be kept “from the hour that would try the whole world.” We like to apply that to ourselves, but doesn’t that mean because the Philadelphia church was “hot” they preserved their entire generation from entering into the time of the end. In contrast, the next generation of believers, the Laodiceans, are so weak spiritually that as salt that has lost it’s savour, they have no preserving power to keep that hour from coming forth during their lifetimes( meaning the promise of the Philadelphia church cannot be taken and applied to our generation.) Do you think it could be possible to have a partial rapture–especially as John as the beloved disciple was the one chosen to receive the revelation, and he as the” type ” of those who will be delievered–showing us only those who are in close fellowship with Jesus will be shown the “open door” in heaven?
