Tribulation Martyrs

Published: May 25, 2012
Q

The saints “under the altar” in Rev 6 are clearly identified as those who had been slain for the Word of God and the testimony they maintained, and yet they do not have their resurrection bodies. It sounds like Christians will be martyred during the seal judgments. Doesn’t that indicate the rapture hasn’t happened yet?

The Mark Of The Beast And Living By Faith

Published: May 24, 2012
Q

I have been reading numerous articles lately concerning the coming “Affordable Care Act.” Written within this law will be the requirment of an RFID. I have also read about our Soldiers being required to receive a microchip, presumably for medical information. The Affordable Care Act will become law on Mar. 23, 2013. Could this be considered the Mark of the Beast , or a precursor to it? I understood that the Mark would not be required until Antichrist is revealed and we believers would already be Ratured. I see the end times signs all around, and am becoming fearful for what lies ahead. I know I belong to the Lord, so why is this fear starting to come down on me, like a heavy weight ?

Divorcing An Unbeliever. Follow Up

Q

Regarding your reply to “Divorcing an Unbeliever”. How do you reconcile what Paul says in the verses you quote (1Cor. 7:13,15,16) with what Jesus states unequivocally in Matt. 5:31,32? I feel that a lot of the time, Paul takes far too many liberties with what Jesus actually taught. I am interested in hearing your rational in this instance.

A Question About Rev. 6

Published: May 21, 2012
Q

I have read almost every thing that I can find that you have written and I consider you to be one of, if not the, best writers on the end times. But in a comment on Rev. 6:11 you made a statement that bothers me.

“Just as the church has a fixed number to achieve before its time on Earth is fulfilled (Romans 11:25) so it is for believers who’re martyred for their faith following the Church’s disappearance.”

I know what Romans 11:25 says, but it seems that you’re saying that there is a fixed number that the Church must meet in people saved. To me this creates goal that must take place before Christ can return for His Church, making the timing of the rapture subject to a precondition. I thought the rapture could happen at any time. Have I misunderstood what you are saying?

Giving Account

Published: May 20, 2012
Q

I understand that no works are required for our salvation, but Romans 14:12 says that “each of us will give an account of himself to God”. Is this an accounting of our works, or will we simply stand in Christ’s salvation?

Is Anointing With Oil Still In Practice?

Published: May 19, 2012
Q

I believe that a person full of faith can be healed, if it is God ‘s will. But I don’t understand the importance of the oil mentioned in James 5:14-15. I see false teachers on TV selling oil napkins and promising healing. Is anointing with oil still in practice? And isn’t God glorified when a Godly old saint is called home to be with Him?

Believe And Receive

Q

I’ve been following your teachings for several years and consider it part of my daily bread. About your reference to the believe and receive crowd, I would be interested in your thoughts on Mark 11:23.

Divorcing An Unbeliever

Published: May 19, 2012
Q

I was wondering if you could shed some light and answers on some questions I have regarding divorce. After 20 long years my unbelieving husband wants to leave me and wants a divorce. We’ve only kept the marriage going this long because 1 Corinthians 7 says I should stay in the marriage in case he eventually gets saved, and for the children who are now grown up. This week he admitted he wanted to leave me but we are in deep financial hardship and it’s best if I file for divorce as I can get legal aid with the costs, where as he can’t. But if I file for the divorce, will it be as if I left him? Or, because he wanted to leave me anyway, it will not matter?

Guided By Gog?

Q

In regards to Vladimir Putin’s recent presidential victory and it’s relevance to Ezekiel 38. From one of your audio studies you speculated that Gog is a supernatural figure. From your studies it was conveyed Daniel 10:12-13 seems to imply that every earthly kingdom and/or government is influenced by a spiritual power. Therefore if Gog is not human then could President Putin be manipulated by this supernatural being?

Rapture / Resurrection Bodies

Published: May 17, 2012
Q

I have a question regarding the rapture. I get the impression from books, commentary I have read, and from bad movies I have seen that when the rapture occurs all those who are in Christ will disappear from the earth, however I don’t understand why God would have any use for our physical bodies. It seems to me that when the rapture occurs God will receive our spirits and that the corpses of all those who believe will the left on earth. Is my understanding incorrect?
