I wanted to get your input what Jesus might have been doing from age 12 to 30. Are there extra-biblical sources that discuss this time period? I have a friend that insists that Jesus went to India during this time and had contact with Indian leaders such as the Dali lama. Do you know if this would have been possible? He mentioned that these people had called Jesus Esu and that there were historical documents to substantiate these claims. I do not necessarily agree with him but was curious about this claim.

I just read an article which gave a view of 2 Thessalonians 2 that I have never heard before. The author said in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Paul called the Temple “the Temple of God’, which could not be the case if the Church was still here, for we are the “Temple of God”(1 Cor. 3:16). I never thought of that before. And with the following verses speaking of the restrainer being taken out of the midst it fits the context perfectly. I believe there are both grammatical and contextual reasons to identify the Holy Spirit as the restrainer. What are the other views concerning the identity of the restrainer?

Your recent study, “Why Ezekiel 38 will Precede Daniel 9,” is a bit confusing for me. I understand Daniel 9:24, 25, but 26 confuses me. If Jesus rode into Jerusalem after 69 weeks of years, how could he be cut-off after 62 weeks of years? How could He die before He rode on the donkey on Palm Sunday?

In Biblical times, both in the OT and NT, there have always been prophets inspired by the Word of God, and in the NT, Apostles of Christ’s teachings during His time on Earth. Since Paul wasn’t a direct follower of Jesus chosen before the resurrection, why do you think we haven’t been given any Apostles since Paul, if Apostleship is something that was/can be given by God after the Cross? Further, why are there no further recognized prophets since John the baptist?

Re: Does God Call Everyone? I see what you are saying for the two different Greek words used for “called” in Romans 8:30 and Matthew 22:14. However, the Greek word in Romans 8:28 is also the same as the one used in Matthew 22:14. Does this mean the people in Romans 8:28 are not the same as the ones being discussed in Romans 8:30? This whole thing is really confusing.

Re: Matt 17:24-27. What is Jesus saying when he implies to Peter that foreigners must pay the tax and that the subjects are exempt? Does this have to do with being exempt from paying the penalty of sin or is there more to it, such as gov’t taxing schemes?

Could you please advise me whether we should be buried or cremated? I have always thought that Christians must be buried as a whole body and not cremated, as this could be against God’s law. The way cemeteries are going these days (not much room), I wonder if cremation will become law. Thank you so much for your teaching, you have helped me so much.

I was reading “Why Is The Church Special,” on how the remainder of the scarlet ribbon would turn white when the goat was released. I thought I had read one time that after the crucifixion of the Messiah, this phenomenon no longer took place. Can you verify or debunk this?

Re: Zechariah 14:20-21. On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD’s house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar. Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD Almighty.

Can you tell me what is meant that there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD? Who are the Canaanites? Thank you so very much for all you do.
