Rev. 19 And Matt. 25

Published: October 25, 2012
Q

Why do you place the Wedding Feast of the Lamb in Heaven? The 5 wise virgins are clearly asked to join the feast after the 2nd Coming. Couple of more parables state that Israel needs to be watchful & prepared for when the Bridegroom is on His way to His Wedding Feast (only possible at 2nd Coming). Rev 19 just says that those invited are blessed. This is the only way the OT/Trib Saints could participate and thus be blessed.

Why Does He Do That?

Published: October 25, 2012
Q

I am confused by Matthew 10:23 when it says “you will not finish going through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” It appears that Jesus is speaking of the “end of the age.” I am confused why he switches from speaking in the present tense to the future tense without informing the reader. I would appreciate your thoughts on this passage.

OSAS And 1 Tim 4:1

Published: October 23, 2012
Q

Re: 1 Timothy 4:1. ” The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” Since you teach eternal security can you please explain this scripture above? The people it refers to must have been in the faith (or believed) to be able to abandon their faith. In my thinking, you can’t abandon something you don’t have to begin with. Am I wrong in thinking this?

Are Aborted Babies Part Of The Church?

Published: October 23, 2012
Q

Will babies who have been aborted go directly to the Lord as members of the Church or will they be part of another population? I imagine they would be the Church, but I’d appreciate your clarification.

How Do We Know It Was A Sin Offering?

Published: October 22, 2012
Q

I’m reading your response regarding Cain and Abel’s offering on your site. You mentioned that no matter whether Cain would have brought the best of his produce or not his offering was not going to be acceptable to God because sin offering required the shedding of innocent blood. I want to know where in Genesis 4 does it tell that they were doing a SIN offering? Secondly, how do we know that the lamb that Abel offered was without blemish?

Can They Ever Please God?

Published: October 22, 2012
Q

Re: No Longer In A State Of Adultery. As a believer, I know God forgives past, present and future sins. My question, however, is God going to look unfavorably on their relationship for eternity, or Does he accept and bless them because they have asked for, and have received, His forgiveness? Can their relationship ever be pleasing in God’s sight, or are they doomed to fail?

Different Races. Follow Up

Q

Re: the different races. I have argued that races were man made not from God. I use Act 17:26 to defend this. “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” What do you think?

Can I Un-Save Myself?

Published: October 21, 2012
Q

I am a born-again Christian. I know this. But a while back ( and even now occasionally) I had serious doubts. There was a point where I was devoid of faith and it seemed like all was lost. I wanted to believe, but I just couldn’t. I read the bible, and it would help, but then I’d get a sense of hopelessness and belief would become impossible again. It came to a point where I asked for signs that He was real and He delivered in the form of an unknown call on my phone shortly after I had asked. then, a text saying Jesus never fails, and finally, out of the blue a friend texted me cause she felt like something was wrong. I’ve read that once you were saved nothing could change it, but what about you? What if you decide that you don’t believe anymore? Can you come back? The prodigal son explains that the son comes to his senses and begs his father but the son never forgot the father.

Is Yoga OK?

Published: October 20, 2012
Q

What is your opinion on the art of yoga? I am saved and a Christian but I just started taking yoga and it’s been beneficial for stress-relief, toning etc. But it also involves something else other than exercise, I am told. I heard it involves the religion of Hinduism and I also notice during class there is an air of ” The Secret”, although it’s not mentioned. But they do mention having all power within us and things of that nature. My question is, Do you think I am able to practice and/or teach yoga for the beneficial aspects of it and not offend God?
