The Wide And Narrow Paths

Published: January 18, 2013
Q

My father passed away last fall and since then I have been worrying if I will see him again. I believe in God and have accepted Jesus as my savior but my mind just keeps wondering about if I will see him again. All of this worrying is really affecting my ability to live life. The Bible says something like narrow is the path to life but wide is the path to destruction. Does that mean not many people will get to heaven? I worry about messing messing up the opportunity of going to heaven and not seeing my dad again. Can you please help me?

A Question On Witnessing

Published: January 17, 2013
Q

If you’re witnessing to an individual and their objection to the Bible concerning Jesus fulfilling Old Testament prophecy is that the New Testament books were written long after the death and resurrection of Jesus. It would have been easy for a people knowledgeable in the Old Testament prophecy concerning the Messiah to be certain that all of the prophecy concerning the Messiah were included. How can I help this person?

Do We Have Little Strength?

Published: January 16, 2013
Q

I agree with your interpretation of Romans 11:25 that the timing of the rapture is based on a number instead of a specific date. If so, do you see the big push for promotion and acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle, as well as abortion on demand to be a final “big push” of the enemy (Satan) to try and delay reaching the number? And is the twisting freedom of speech laws to try and stop Christians from sharing the gospel a sign that the church has “little strength” as the Lord said in Rev. 3:8? That our influence is being diminished, making the great commission more and more difficult?

The Desire Of Women

Will the anti-Christ be a homosexual according to Daniel 11:37? If he is a Muslim, that lifestyle will not be accepted. What are your thoughts?

Kept From The Hour

Published: January 13, 2013
Q

I have been wondering if Revelation 3:10b where Jesus says to the church of Philadelphia (the evangelical church) “I will also keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” is also a verification of the rapture happening before the tribulation since some of the judgments happen before the “Great Tribulation”? Could you also explain the “hour of trial”, would that speak of the whole 7 years?

The Rich Man And Lazarus

Published: January 13, 2013
Q

In an article you wrote you said something that I have not been able to thus far prove – (the rich man’s name was Dives). In the Lord’s parables the characters weren’t named. My Question is: Where did you find this reference?

Does The Lord Honor My Tithe?

Published: January 10, 2013
Q

My husband and I differ on tithing. He gladly gives to the church and if there is any special need or project he will give, but he does not believe that we have to give the 10% all the time. On the other hand I do, and since I’m the one that writes the check I tithe the 10%, but I base it on my earnings and not his. I have read that this is not acceptable to God and my tithe is not honored because I am going behind his back to do it. What do you think is right?

The Wrath Of God

Q

In Romans 5:9, is the Lord (through Paul) referring to believers being saved from the wrath of the great tribulation, or from the wrath of eternal separation from God in Hell?

Why Was Lot Considered Righteous?

Can you help me understand why Lot and his daughters were considered righteous? First he offers his daughters as potential rape victims to the Sodomites, then later on his daughters seduce their own father.

Where Was Aaron?

Published: January 7, 2013
Q

I was reading in the Book of Exodus where Moses is sent back to Egypt to demand that Pharaoh allow the Hebrews to go into the desert to worship God. As I read, I realized for the first time that I have no idea where Aaron was when Moses was being given his instructions. Any ideas? Did he leave Egypt to flee with Moses? Did Moses just meet up with him when he got back to Egypt?
