Preparation Day
Published: March 30, 2013I have been reading your answers to Passover questions and articles. In one you confidently assert that the Preparation day on which Jesus was crucified was the day before Nisan 15, not necessarily a weekly Sabbath. Your conclusion was that Jesus died on a Thursday, Nisan 14. I tend to follow this logic as well, but am looking for sources that verify that the preparation day could mean a day other than Friday. What are your sources that say in Jesus time the preparation day was a designation of the day before any holy convocation, not only a weekly sabbath, as Friday proponents claim?
Noah Or Noe?
Published: March 28, 2013I’ve been curious about this for years and can’t come up with a logical reason as why. Why did the writers of KJV have different spelling for the name Noah? Some place its Noah and other its Noe.
Is Jeremiah 25 Both Past And Future?
Published: March 28, 2013Do you see Jeremiah 25 switching from a “near-term” prophecy to an “end times” prophecy in the middle of verse 12? Verse 13 to 26 seems to speak of the Great Tribulation, especially considering that verse 26 ends with the statement that “Sheshach (Babylon) will drink after them.” This appears to be a parallel with Revelation 17-18, Isaiah 13-14, Jeremiah 50-51. I do not recall ever hearing any prophecy teachers referring to this passage when speaking of the ultimate fall of Babylon.
Origin Of The Black Race
Published: March 27, 2013Where did the black race come from? Is there anything in the Bible making reference to this?
Proper Use Of Tongues
Published: March 27, 2013I am wondering if you might help me to understand what’s going on in 1 Cor.14:22 where Paul writes, “Tongues then, are a sign, not for believers, but for unbelievers; prophecy however, is for believers, not for unbelievers”. Then, in the next verse he says, “So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?” Now in v.22 he said tongues were a sign for unbelievers, whereas in v.23 he said if everyone in the church speaks in tongues, unbelievers who hear it will think everybody is crazy. This seems to be a contradiction.
The Last Eight Days. Follow Up
Published: March 25, 2013Our study group has been going through your “The Last 8 Days” articles and have a question regarding the following statement: “The disciples knew the 483 year mark had been reached a few days earlier and that the Messiah was among them.” The person with the question said that is not said anywhere in the gospels. Would you please let me know how the disciples knew that, so I can give them an answer?
Must The Anti-Christ Be Jewish?
Published: March 23, 2013It was always my understanding that Israel will accept the anti-Christ as their leader and as the messiah. If that truly is the fact, then would they not follow his genealogy back to David?? Wouldn’t he have to be a Jew?
The Quartet And Zechariah 1
Published: March 22, 2013Several commentators say that the four horns in Zechariah chapter 1 represent the four political entities of the Quartet, made up of the United Nations, European Union, USA and Russia. It was formed in 2002 with the aim of preparing Palestinians for statehood. Could this be possible and could there be a connection between the Quartets’ actions on dividing God’s land and His people Israel and natural and economic disasters that have befallen the member nations since 2002?
Will Our Children Go With Us?
Published: March 21, 2013I would like to know your take on what happens to the young children or babies of believing parents, the parents I would presume will go in the Rapture with all of us who believe Jesus is the Son of God and Savior, will the young children go into New Jerusalem with the rest of us? And will they retain their young age?
The Nature Of Procreation
Published: March 21, 2013In Does God Have A Plan for All Of Us? you said that God delegated the procreation process to Adam and Eve so He isn’t directly involved (if I understood you correctly). Does that mean that life is a lottery and every person ever existed is conceived by chance? I always believed that every person was uniquely planned by God. I know testimonies where people found solace in the fact that they aren’t unplanned mistakes (as their parents made them feel in many cases) because God planned and wanted them (not just foreknew them!) before creation.
