Do you think that it’s possible that Jesus has chosen some of us to stay behind at the time of the rapture to help certain others? I have had some very clear and specific dreams to that effect and have been looking for any Biblical evidence to support this, but haven’t found any.

First I wanted to thank you for your awesome website. It is very clear that you thoroughly study God’s work and have a good understanding of it. And you have been a tremendous help in motivating me in my walk with the Lord.

Having said that I would like to ask for clarification on your view of suicide. You had stated in answering a previous question that you believed that if a person committed suicide and had previously received the gift of salvation, that person would spend eternity with God. Having been raised Pentecostal, the Once Saved Always Saved belief has not been something I would say I have believed in, but the way you describe it and back it up with scripture, I am tending to believe you have valid points.

Until we get to the issue of suicide. I am having a hard time believing that this is not a sin that will keep you out of heaven. If you are right, then, we Christians could always take the easy way out when things got tough. We could say “I’m ready to be with Jesus, and tired of this world” and take our life, and instantly be with him. That is the one area I have come across that is preventing me from getting completely ‘onboard’ your belief, of OSAS.

First of all, thank you so much for your ministry. My question is pertaining to Matthew 24. I believe as you do that this chapter is addressed to Israel and regards the 70th week of Daniel. I’m a bit confused about verses 40 – 42. It sounds rapture like in its description of two together and one taken but according to verse 29 it happens after the tribulation. Is this part of the gathering that the angels do in verse 31 or is it something altogether different?

Re: The description of the temple in the book of Ezekiel. Is that for the future, or was that just for the returning Israelites who had been in captivity in Babylon?

On June 7th 1967 the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, was unified again and the Jews gained their political government back. Did that in fact start the stopwatch on the End Times?? I’m referring to Luke 21:32.

Re: Explaining Rev. 12. My question is: Is Satan still in Heaven then? Rev. 12:10 states that he is “the accuser of our brethren”…”which accused them before our God day and night.” Since he rebelled against God so many years ago with a third of “the stars of heaven” are we to believe that this is the time that Isaiah speaks of in chapter 14:12, etc., and that Jesus spoke of in Luke 10:14? And, that GOD has allowed him access to The Throne to this day, and until this time prophesied in Revelation 12:10?

In Genesis 2:18 the Lord refers to the woman (Eve) as a helper: “And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

And then in John 14:26 He refers to the Holy Spirit as The Helper: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

Are there any strong correlations or similarities between woman or mother and the Holy Spirit other than using a similar word in reference to them?

We all know about birds and fish and other animals dropping dead all over the globe, which is presumably Hosea 4:1-3 coming to pass. Well, some hundreds of fish were recently found dead in a park about twenty minutes from where I live. The authorities haven’t found any rational cause for this. So I was wondering, is it God Himself who is killing off segments of His creation, or does He have angels who do that for Him?

I can’t find any satisfactory explanation of Revelation 12 – where Jesus is seemingly born in the middle of the tribulation. So apparently it’s not a linear book.. What does this story of the woman and the dragon have to do with the larger teaching of Revelation?

In your August 11th post regarding “Why will the nations need healing” you stated that the leaves of the tree of life will be needed by the people on Earth who will still suffer from disease and death. With New Jerusalem orbiting above the earth, do you think there will be a lot of resentment from the people of Earth that they are still suffering and the people of New Jerusalem are not. If so, could this resentment be manifested with sinful words and deeds?
