Righteousness, Past, Present, And Future
Published: October 21, 2013I am so blessed by your teachings. Thank you so much. I have a question regarding the gift of righteousness. You said that tribulation believers will have to maintain their own righteousness in order to be accepted in the kingdom of God. I wonder what they will believe at that time. Is it the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross or just Jesus is the Messiah ? Did the finished work of Jesus at the cross already include the gift of righteousness? How come they have to maintain their own righteousness if they believe the cross ?
Whose Image Was It?
Published: October 21, 2013In Genesis 1: 26 God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.” Then in Genesis 1: 27 it says So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
I know there is only one God and I believe in the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. But who does he mean by “Our Image & Our likeness”? (When ever you use our it normally means more than one) but then verse 27 says “So God created man in His own image”? Can you also clarify the terms “Our Image & Our likeness” as well?
More On Taking The Mark
Published: October 20, 2013I just read that by 2017 , our current administration has plans for each person in the United Stated to receive a microchip. I realize this is just speculation, but if we were to actually take the chip, would we be in jeopardy of losing our salvation even though the antichrist is not yet on the scene? I love your website and read it every day. Thank you for all you do for us.
Receive The Mark And Still Be Saved? Follow Up
Published: October 19, 2013In your reply to the above question, you quoted Rev. 14: 9-11…”If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath…. and said, “There are three acts mentioned here and any one of them will result in eternal damnation. Whether they 1)worship the beast (anti-Christ) or 2) worship his image, or 3) receive the mark of his name it’s all the same.”
I disagree with your conclusion. The Bible uses the word “and”, which is inclusive, meaning if you did ALL of the three things you would lose your eternal life. If you would only have had to do one of those three things then the Bible would have used the word “or”.
Is The 70th Week Half Over?
Published: October 19, 2013I have just read your article on the sequence of end time events, which I agree with wholeheartedly. However, a friend of mine in the US, who has a remarkable grip on scriptures and the Bible, says that Daniel’s 70th week started with Christ’s ministry, ending half way through the ‘week’ when Jesus was hung on the cross. In her opinion there are only 3 1/2 years left of Daniel’s 70th week prophecy and that will be the Great Tribulation. Her numbers and dates seem to add up but my own knowledge is not enough to refute her opinion. What do you say?
Becoming Sons Of God
Published: October 18, 2013How do people become sons of God? I know the Bible says in Romans 8 that it is by grace through faith we are sons of God, but Jesus said in Matthew 5 that we may be sons of God if we love our enemies. Can you help me sort out this confusion?
Ezekiel 25 And Psalm 83
Published: October 18, 2013Thank you for your wonderful and educational website. I have just finished reading Ezekiel 25 and found that it bears remarkable resemblance to Psalm 83 ie the coming war between Israel and her closest neighbors. Do these chapters support each other?
Receive The Mark And Still Be Saved?
Published: October 18, 2013I’ve recently read where a well-known preacher believes that people who take the Mark of the Beast during the Tribulation can still be saved. I get the impression that this preacher may think that worshiping the Beast, not taking the mark, is what damns people during the Tribulation. Doesn’t Revelation 20:4 contradict this? Aren’t these people eternally damned after they take the mark?
Denying Christ Through Torture
Published: October 17, 2013If you were a true, honest, believing Christian but you were in a situation where you were being tortured and through torture you were forced to renounce your faith in Jesus Christ, but in your heart you are still a Christian, feeling ashamed that you were too much of a coward to not resist denying Jesus Christ through torture, are you still saved?
The 144,000 Of Rev. 14
Published: October 16, 2013Re: the 144,000 of Rev. 7 and 14. Your writing on this subject has caused me to dig deeper – with much interest. [I greatly appreciate your work.]
Question: In Rev 14:4 it reads “…were not defiled by women – for they were virgins …” You state that “this 144K is a sampling of the redeemed, brought to heaven in the rapture”. Are you suggesting that there will be a few groups around the throne? [Some defiled by women …? Some pretty ordinary sinners redeemed by the Precious Blood? And some elders?]
