First Fruits Rapture?
Published: December 5, 2013I love your messages and I want to know the truth of the Rapture. Recently I’ve come across a teaching about there being two raptures, one that is pre-trib and another one in the middle of the tribulation period. Have you heard of this?
Gog/Magog Vs. Armageddon
Published: December 4, 2013I was hoping you could give the differences between the battle of Gog and Magog and the battle of Armageddon. For example, in one the bodies are buried and the other they are consumed by the fowl of the air. Thank you again for your time and effort on the website.
Will The Church Get Stronger Or Weaker?
Published: December 3, 2013I would like to hear your view on our Lord’s words in Matthew 16: 18 – 19 where He gives His Church the “keys to the Kingdom” saying “whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven” and “whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”. What exactly was Jesus promising here?. I have encountered various different opinions/teachings for this passage. While I now agree with your view on the Church becoming weaker towards the end, I have been taught the opposite, that because of promises like this, His Church will move in victory, be overcomers and represent “His light” in the darkness during these last days.
Mary And Pentecost
Published: December 3, 2013I’ve been reading the book of Acts especially chapter 1 and 2 looking for something that suggests that Mary the mother of Jesus was also there on the day of Pentecost. Its seems as if I read something like that in the bible and now I’m really struggling to get it. Please help me if you can.
Blessing For Everyone, Or Just For Some?
Published: December 3, 2013I would like to know if God’s favor, protection and blessing is only present in a person’s life when he/she is living according to His will. Or are these present for everyone who is saved, even though they are living outside of His will or in sin?
What Can I Say To Him?
Published: December 3, 2013A patient and I were discussing the plight of a little girl I’m also treating who recently had major surgery and then 10 days later was rushed back to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy. His response was this.
“That poor girl…I’ll never understand what God has in mind with all the pain and suffering the young have to endure. Who could ignore the cries of a child? It seems like we’ve been forgotten and he’s moved on to another project.”
I know he’s not a believer. How can I respond to this in a way that could perhaps change that?
The Consequence Of Sin
Published: December 2, 2013Re: “Where are the spirits of the Newtown children?” What is the “consequence of sin” you refer to? Is it the consequence of suffering eternal separation from God? Many do not know anything about God or the Bible well into adult life these days. Are they accountable?
Binding The Strong Man?
Published: December 1, 2013In Matthew 12:29 Jesus said we must first bind the strong man ( the devil ) then we can spoil his house. Does that mean we are to bind the devil also? I hear that in lots of churches ie: I bind you Satan in the name of Jesus. Can we bind him in the name of Jesus?
Did He Believe Or Didn’t He?
Published: December 1, 2013In Mark 9: 14-27 a man brought a boy with a dumb spirit to JESUS. In vs. 19 he asked the father how long ago did this happen? Why did JESUS ask him that? Wouldn’t JESUS have known that? Then in vs: 22 the father said if you can do anything help us, and in vs 23 JESUS said if you can believe all things are possible to him that believes. In vs: 24 the father said i believe.. help my unbelief. What does all that mean? Did he believe or not?
Fact Or Tradition?
Published: December 1, 2013I have always thought that there was more to the story about the shepherds visiting the birth of Jesus than what Luke says. For example, I’ve been told that these were shepherds of the flock of sheep that were used in the temple sacrifices and therefore they were making sure that the lambs being born were without blemish. This is the reason they were sent to Bethlehem to witness the birth of Jesus, the Lamb of God, who was born without sin. Also, the plot of land they were using was the same plot that Boaz redeemed for Naomi in the book of Ruth. Is there any evidence of this or is it all a cute story like the little drummer boy?
