Advantage Satan?

Published: February 5, 2014
Q

The Bible identifies two possible roads, one broad that is followed by many and leads to death and the other a narrow road followed by few and leads to life. Seeing that the Lord does not want any to be lost does this not mean some sort of advantage to Satan if he ends up with the most souls or is quality more important than quantity in this case? Thank you for your invaluable guidance in these times that we live in,may the Lord bless and keep you.

A Second Chance At Life?

Published: February 4, 2014
Q

Lately I’ve been seeing programs on TV and in videos about people who have died and came back to life. Most of them tell a story of seeing a bright light and a tunnel and various other things. Several of the stories bring God into the picture but a lot of them do not. I wonder what your thoughts might be on this subject.

Sinners In Heaven?

Published: February 4, 2014
Q

I am disturbed by your articles regarding habitual sinners in heaven. My first thought was, “Then what is the point of Jesus sacrifice if we can’t be over comers?” I personally through the power of the Holy Spirit’s work in me (not my own power) have overcome alcoholism, fornication and smoking. These took many years of struggle but the work of God in my life did it. So my thought is that if Jesus can do this for me, he will do it for anyone as they persevere.

Help! I Don’t Know What To Do

Published: February 4, 2014
Q

I had a huge shock last Christmas when my pastor stood in front of our church and proclaimed ALL 500+ prophesies of Jesus had already been fulfilled. I really believe this man is a man of God but how on earth could he say such a thing? When I first walked into this church 8 years ago after spending 4 years looking, I felt at home. But now I am beginning to doubt that I am in the right place. I don’t know what to do. Can you help?

No Fear Of Judgment

Published: February 4, 2014
Q

I’ve been a believer all my 60 years but have never understood the issue of the judgment of believers. Reading 2 Cor. 5:10 tells us there will be a judgment for deeds done, good or bad. If, when we are saved, our sins are forgiven and forgotten, how can we then be accountable for any sin/evil we commit in our Christian walk? My desire for heaven is lessened by fear that I will be punished for sin I thought would be forgiven and removed as far as the east is from the west. Does that end with salvation? Am I forgiven, but then “punished” by loss of reward?

How Can We Tell If A Child Is Saved?

Published: February 3, 2014
Q

I have a question about a person who gets saved at a very young age and then when much older questions if it was true salvation. As a child there was not much change and as a teenager did not grow in the Lord. There was no spiritual growth etc. I guess my question is how can you tell if a young child is really saved? Many adults today, I believe question if they where really saved as a child.

Will I Go To Heaven?

Published: February 3, 2014
Q

My question is that on several occasions diviners have said that I come from the sea. It appears that a spirit follows me and sometimes the diviners see it. One of them once told me that he does not think I will go to heaven because of that. Is that true now that I have received Christ as my Lord and savior?

More On Taking The Mark Of The Beast

Q

Do you think taking the mark of the beast involves something far more sinister than just a means of controlling buying and selling, perhaps the changing of your DNA and your very soul belonging to Satan?

Can We Renounce Our Salvation?

Published: February 2, 2014
Q

Some friends and I have been doing some Bible study on odd topics and this week the topic is can you renounce your salvation? I think not because the word says God will not be mocked and it also says , he will not lose one of us. But one person in our group thinks that you can renounce your salvation. I think if you do you were never truly saved to begin with. Are there any scriptures you would have if you agree or disagree with me?
