What’s Happening To Our World?

Published: April 16, 2014
Q

Recently during a conversation I had an outburst of anger directed toward the world. Afterwards I realized how I really feel and ever since then I’ve felt horrible. The basic overview of the anger was that the world has gone to hell, there’s almost no good left. The world will never be saved, people will never get better. What little good that’s left is fading away every day. God’s presence has been rejected all over the world. I feel that there’s absolutely no hope whatsoever left in this world.

Should We Get Involved?

Published: April 16, 2014
Q

Since there is no country resembling America in the end-times prophecies, and it looks as though our current administration is going to be the tool that takes us out of the international picture, should we fight our government’s systematic destruction of the Constitution? Would it be considered idol worship to make an effort to defend the traditional American way of life if God’s Word seems to indicate such an effort would be futile?

Why Have You Forsaken Me?

Published: April 15, 2014
Q

About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?” that is, “MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?” Matthew 27:46

In the ninth hour on the cross why did Jesus cry out? I know why I would cry out but it seems so unlike Jesus. It could be interpreted as a lack of faith and I’m puzzled. Thank you for your answer.

Jews, Gentiles, And The Church

Q

A friend of mine and I were talking about how we are all descendants of Adam and Eve. Were they Jews? If so why aren’t we all ? If not when did the separation between Jews and Gentiles begin and why?

Confirming The Treaty

Q

Re: Daniel 9:27. In your viewpoint, is there any treaty presently in existence that AC merely has to blow the dust off and resurrect or confirm, or are we still waiting for that special treaty to be written?

The Last Blood Moons?

Published: April 15, 2014
Q

There’s something I don’t understand. If these are the last Blood Moons (2 in 2014 and 2 in 2015) and there will be no more this century as NASA says, are these the Blood Moons of Joel and Acts? If they are not, then the blood moons will be caused by something happening? My mind is really pondering this and could we be so close to the Tribulation!

More On Daniel’s 70th Week

Published: April 15, 2014
Q

Regarding your recent article “What If They Had Accepted Him”. Toward the end you mentioned that the clock on Daniel’s prophecy paused seven years short of its scheduled duration, a pause which continues to this day. My question is why did the clock pause 7 years and not 3 1/2 years since Jesus was cut off in the midst of the week?

New Testament Canon

Q

In “Why Aren’t The Books Of The Apocrypha In All Bibles” you covered nicely why some books were not included in the OT. What about the NT? gospel of Judas , gospel of the Hebrews, infancy gospels, etc/.

Why Not Use The Temple They Had?

Published: April 15, 2014
Q

Re: What If They Had Accepted Him? My question is why would there be a need to build a “new” Temple, when Herod’s Temple had just been completed? During the 70th week the rebuilt Temple is desecrated, but you believe it will be cleansed and used by the Lord. Maybe I’m over thinking this, but if the Lord will cleanse a Temple where the “abomination of desolation” happens and then use it again, then why not use a freshly completed Temple?

A Palm Sunday Question

Published: April 13, 2014
Q

In John 12:1 it says:”Then six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany…”, and then verse 12 says, “The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast…” So, according to John 12:1, Jesus was in Bethany 6 days before the 14th of the month, that is He was there on the 8th of the month, and the next day is the 9th of the month, the day when the multitude went out to meet Him and cried out “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! The King of Israel!”, and it was not on the 10th of the month.
