Raptured Children

Published: April 18, 2014
Q

I am searching scripture looking for something that tells me that the children under the age of accountability will also be taken in the rapture. A friend asked me this and I told her that yes they would be removed at the rapture but could not back-up my statement with scripture that actually spells that out.

Who Are The Other Sheep?

Re: John 10:16: “And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold…”. Who was Jesus referring to in this verse and exactly to whom was he speaking?

Children In The Rapture

Published: April 17, 2014
Q

Some people teach that all children under the age of accountability will be raptured, but I am having trouble reconciling this with scripture. If we use things in the OT as “types” I cannot make it fit, e.g. in the flood only Noah and his family were saved out of it, but presumably any children under the age of accountability who died would go to be with the Lord, but they still suffered physical death.

Also with Lot and his family being taken out of Sodom, the children under the age of accountability were not taken out but suffered physical death, even though they then would go to be with the Lord.

Surely it will be the same with the rapture; any children that die in the Tribulation under the age of accountability will go to be with the Lord and those that reach the age of accountability will have the opportunity to receive salvation. Can you shed any light on this? Thank you so much.

Are We Really Forgiven?

Published: April 17, 2014
Q

I was surfing the net, when I came upon a site where someone wrote with concerns about our sins not really being forgiven. The respondent quoted II Cor. 5:10, saying we’ll have to give an accounting of what we’ve done on earth, whether good or bad. I thought God has forgiven all our sins. What gives?

The Lord’s Childhood

Q

There are dozens of accounts about Jesus’ childhood. Most are fanciful, others are reported as “factual” in varying degrees. Is there any account of Jesus’ childhood that you feel confident to recommend as the “most factual”?

Is North Korea Mentioned In Prophecy?

Published: April 16, 2014
Q

A recent news headline has reported that “In secret and with remarkable speed, North Korea has built a new, highly sophisticated facility to enrich uranium, raising fears that the North is ramping up its atomic program.” Since they are not in the list of nations specifically mentioned in either Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38-39, how does North Korea fit into end times prophecy (as an individual nation) or do they?

Two Calendars

Published: April 16, 2014
Q

I am trying to study the Jewish feasts and I wanted to see a Jewish calendar. I went to a website to look at one and now I am more confused. It shows the Jewish year as September to September however, when reading in Lev 23 about the time of the feasts it says that Passover should be on the 14th day of the first month. So why isn’t passover in September according to the Jewish calendar? I would really appreciate any clarification you could give me on this.

Heaven Is For Real

Published: April 16, 2014
Q

The book “Heaven is for Real” was extremely realistic, yet I have a catch in my Spirit in regards to it as I feel we are not to be involved with the supernatural, but receive our information re: heaven from the Bible and Our Lord Jesus Christ. John 3 :13 says No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man, who is in heaven. I would appreciate your thoughts and opinion.

Taking The Mark For Eternal Life?

Published: April 16, 2014
Q

In Genesis the devil tells Eve the lie that she will not die. In Revelation during the tribulation men will desire death but will not be able to die. I read somewhere that this might have something to do with taking the mark of the beast, a temporary inability to die. Something the devil might offer to get people to take the mark, everlasting life, just to discover the horror of another of his lies. I know it is speculation but the thought came up as well as the idea to ask your opinion. What do you think?

Still More On Blood Moons

Published: April 16, 2014
Q

I know you have written that you do not think there is any correlation between activities in Israel, the Bible and the moon and sun eclipses. but I do not call it “ironic” that there were eclipses in 1493, a year after America was discovered and the Jews persecuted in Spain; during the 1948 period Israel became a nation again; and then again in ’67-’68 during Israel’s six-day war, a war fraught with miracles. NASA has said these blood moons and total eclipses of the sun have only occurred three times during the past 500 years, as I’ve noted above, and every time Israel has been affected.
