Has The 2nd Coming Already Happened?
Published: July 9, 2014Jesus clearly stated to those around him at the time, that some of those standing there with him, would not see death before he returned. This is unequivocally clear. If you believe that he is yet to return, and he doesn’t, that makes him a false prophet.
The Withered Fig Tree
Published: July 9, 2014I have searched all your posts but cannot find anything on Matt 21:18-22, specifically verse 19b, Then He said to it, ‘May you never bear fruit again!’ Immediately the tree withered. Non christian friends say this shows a selfish, anger problem. I’m not too sure how to answer them scriptually. Can you please help? Thankyou again for sharing your gifts with us. It has helped tremendously.
More On The Millennium. Follow Up
Published: July 9, 2014Re: More On the Millennium. When the church comes back w/Jesus on the white horses and we see him victorious in the battle of Armageddon….I have been told that we will stay on the earth in the millennial kingdom working for Jesus. If that’s right (and please correct me if it’s not), will the church be scattered around the world working or will we stay in Israel w/Jesus? If we are working everywhere, what will it be like for someone who may be working in an area that undergoes a plague or something? I don’t assume we will be suffering but I guess I never thought about trials and hardships after we are raptured…..is that something we may experience?
You Should Ask Her
Published: July 9, 2014I was in a Bible study last week and a close friend of ours indicated that she never prays to Jesus. Instead, she only prays to God. I found this confusing. How can one be intimate with Jesus and not pray to Him? Can someone have this attitude and still be saved?
Leaving Our Bodies Behind?
Published: July 7, 2014Thinking of how the news media is pushing the idea for at least the last 20 years of a World Wide Pandemic, and that there are many movies and a new hit TV show on the subject, I have been thinking that the public is primed and ready for this to happen. Why would we take our bodies to meet Jesus and leave just our clothes? I am convinced that will not happen. I think the strong delusion will be the millions of raptured saints bodies passed off as the coming worldwide pandemic. Someone will have to step up to calm those left behind and clean up the mess. Am I off base, and if not, why is everyone saying that only empty clothing will be left? I have never heard anyone say millions of bodies will be everywhere and it will be an international disaster. Is there anyone out there who thinks this way, besides me?
Gentiles Saved During Daniel’s 70th Week
Published: July 7, 2014I understand that the Jews will rebuild the Temple and continue the sacrifices because they will still not believe their Messiah has come. It will be as it was before the Church Age. But, it is my understanding that there will be many Gentiles becoming believers due to seeing these things take place and becoming true believers in Jesus Christ–without becoming Jews and taking part in sacrifices. Doesn’t the Bible say that there will be people from all over the world, every nation, coming to belief in Christ at that time?
Class Differences In Heaven?
Published: July 7, 2014I was just reading one of your answers where the writer was concerned about class differences in heaven based on our works for the Kingdom after we are saved. It brought to mind the parable Jesus taught about the workers who were hired late in the afternoon receiving the same wage as those who went to work early in the morning. The early birds complained, but the owner of the field said it was his field and his money, and he could pay whatever he wished to whomever he wished. It seems to me that this teaches that the Blessed will not make individual comparisons regarding who gets the most rewards in the Kingdom or Eternity. What do you think?
OSAS Anthology. Follow Up
Published: July 6, 2014Re: OSAS Anthology. My question is this; why would God allow his Spirit to influence some people to interpret some passages directed towards the prize (eternal rewards) as being interpreted as towards the gift (salvation.) Why would God’s world allow such debate amongst the church only widening the gap in our like-mindedness and unity? Why would God allow someone to incorrectly understand something that is as important as their eternal security, allowing them to live a life fearful that a future sin may revoke their ticket to eternal life, which doesn’t seem like a peaceful existence to me at all, more of a burden by beliefs?
It’s Better To Marry Than To Burn
Published: July 6, 2014Re: 1 Corinthians 7:9. “But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn.” Does this mean anyone who has had sex before marriage is going to hell?
A Backslidden Witness
Published: July 6, 2014Sometimes when I am going through a tough time I still try to witness to others. I feel compelled to do so but feel like a hypocrite because I have no room to talk at the moment. I still share the Good News and try not to let the devil get to me. That’s all I really can do right? I am not perfect and fall flat on my face sometimes but God always picks me right back up.
