Satan’s Greatest Defeat

Published: July 11, 2014
Q

In Matthew 16:21 Jesus tells his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem to be put to death and raised on the 3rd day. I’ve always understood that Satan must have been ignorant of the fact that Jesus needed to be crucified for our salvation. Other wise he would have tried with all of his might to thwart this from happening. If he heard this straight from the mouth of Jesus that this should happen, then why wasn’t he trying to stop it? We all know that God’s plans would always trump man’s and Satan’s plans, but seems curious to me that he seemed to help the Jewish leaders anger against Jesus.

Was Pre-Flood Mankind Vegetarian?

Published: July 11, 2014
Q

My grandson watched the movie of Noah recently. When we were discussing it, I made the comment that mankind did not eat meat until after the flood. He then stated that non-believing pagans did eat meat because they didn’t care. My question is: Did only Adam’s line not eat meat until God gave permission post-flood that they could and that at that post-flood animals would no longer be under the dominion of man? For example, was Cain and his line meat eaters pre-flood as well as non-believers in God?

Celebrating The Feasts

Published: July 11, 2014
Q

The real reason that Christians do not celebrate feasts and holidays of the Lord is because years ago, Roman Christians sought to remove all the Jewishness from Christianity. It had nothing to do with what Jesus said because he celebrated all the feasts and holidays of his Father and we need to do the same.

Salvation And Judgment

Published: July 10, 2014
Q

Do the unbelievers before the Salvation message of Jesus have any hope of having a choice of accepting Jesus at the Judgement Seat? I am referring to pagans and Romans. And are the sins of the Priests who put Jesus to death knowing that he was the son of God ever forgiven? And being that our sins were forgiven as believers, what are we accountable to at the judgement where we stand before God and remember all our sins?

Will They Remember Us?

Published: July 10, 2014
Q

You may have answered this, but after the Rapture people will be left behind. Will they have a memory of us, or will they be confused about where we all went, and go out and start looking for us. I believe some will know what happened to us but a lot won’t know.

The Withered Fig Tree. Follow Up

Published: July 10, 2014
Q

Re: The Withered Fig Tree. My Question is: If the cursed fig tree is symbolic of Israel, and Jesus’ words were that it would henceforth bear no fruit forever, how do we reconcile that with national Israel being in the millennial Kingdom obviously bearing fruit to the Lord? “Henceforth” and “forever” don’t leave any wiggle room for “except in the millennium”.

The Millennium. More Follow up

Published: July 10, 2014
Q

Once again you have stated that the Jewish people will return to the Old Covenant and sacrifice animals in the temple. I do agree that they will during the first half of Daniel’s 70th week, but don’t agree that those who accept Jesus as their Messiah and survive unto the Millennium will continue in that ritual. I believe that a new covenant will be made between God and man that will not include blood sacrifice. Jesus made the ultimate blood sacrifice for all pre- and post- Rapture believers.

More On believers In Hell

Published: July 10, 2014
Q

Please can you explain why, according to those who have had visions of Hell and Heaven or near death experience, they saw men and women of GOD in Hell because of one sin or the other. On the other hand, some of them told of people were refused entrance to Heaven because of the sin of unforgiveness not minding the fact that they are believers.

Muslims Against Muslims?

Published: July 9, 2014
Q

I have a question regarding the end times going forward and the events that we see taking place in the Middle East. Not so much between the Jews and Muslims, on that I am pretty clear. Is this expected and where in the Bible do we get an explanation of the ongoing battles between the Muslim groups and all of the fighting which appears to be evolving into a full out civil war or Sunni vs Shia?

A Dominion Theology Question

Published: July 9, 2014
Q

My wife and I are in a bible study where we really enjoy the fellowship of the other members. The problem is that the teacher is bringing out parts of the Dominion Theology. She truly believes and teaches that we still have the dominion God gave to Adam & Eve in Gen. 1:28. She believes we still have dominion over the birds, etc., as in Gen 1:28, and also over the wind, rain, sickness and disease. Can you show me in Scripture where when Adam fell he lost dominion and that that dominion was passed on to Satan, and that any authority we have to heal the sick and cast out demons comes directly from the authority given to us by using the name, power and authority of Jesus Christ?
