Was Adam Bisexual?
Published: August 7, 2014Here’s an excerpt from a study I’ve been reading. “If God simply took a rib from Adam, what would that do to the man? Well, it would leave him one rib short. And believe it or not, I have had people ask me whether men have one less rib than a woman. Well, of course not! Certainly God didn’t take one rib and make out of that rib a woman.”
“He took the reproductive segment of the woman, we call that the gonad or the germ plasm. He took that reproductive part which was certainly in a side chamber in Adam. Yes, he has the male and the female both. So I think that Adam was bisexual and some of the very early Rabbi’s who where certainly students of the Old Testament, had that concept, that Adam was bisexual, until God removed the female reproduction system from Adam and with that then He created the woman.” Would you please address this for me? I have a problem with the “bisexual” part.
Is She Committing Suicide?
Published: August 6, 2014In the news recently a woman who was paralyzed went to court and won the “right to die” by having her breathing tube removed. Her parents think that if she does that she is committing suicide and won’t go to heaven. Question is, if she or any one can not live without the help of machines, would it be considered suicide if she had the tubes removed, or would it be considered a natural death?
Where’s The Repentance?
Published: August 6, 2014When I became a believer 5 years ago, I couldn’t find an appropriate church and so your site taught me most of what I know. I sincerely appreciate the effort you put into it. My question has to do with belief in Christ being all we need for salvation. My husband says he believes and has a clear understanding of Christ and God. He became a believer shortly after I did. He occasionally reads his Bible and listens to Christian music. However, I feel as though he is not repenting of certain sins. Don’t we need repentance as well?
How Can I Convince Him?
Published: August 5, 2014I am a Born Again Christian and my husband is a devout Catholic. I wholeheartedly believe in the pre-trib Rapture and he doesn’t believe it at all because he said the word Rapture isn’t in the Bible. I try to tell him that the word Rapture is a word that describes the event of being caught up. He said the Rapture theory started with John Darby and I said that isn’t true. How can I convince him that the Rapture is truth and it is about to take place very soon and it is from God and not John Darby?
Rapture Hostility
Published: August 5, 2014Any idea why the doctrine of the rapture causes such hostility in Christians? I believe in the pre Trib rapture because as you so eloquently point out, the Bible supports it. But if someone believes otherwise, so be it. Our salvation isn’t based on our rapture or any doctrinal beliefs other than total faith in Jesus to stand in for us. Why is the rapture so upsetting? Some Christians seem moved to threats and I really don’t get it at all. Why all the hate mail about something designed to give us comfort?
OSAS And 2 Peter 3:17
Published: August 5, 2014I am doing a study on 2nd Peter and am having trouble answering a question. My question deals with verse 17 of chapter 3 which is a warning from Peter. I understand the warning but my study question asks, “what does this show regarding once saved, always saved”. Can you help me understand?
Who Was Bar Abbas?
Published: August 5, 2014Who was Barabbas? I have been intrigued by the meaning of his name (son of the father, if I’m not mistaken). Can you shed some light into his role?
Hidden Away Or Watchng The Judgment Of Earth?
Published: August 5, 2014I was presented with an interesting question today and I don’t have good answer. The person was telling me that traditional Jewish weddings have a 7 day sequester of the bride and groom. I do not know if that is true or not. But the question is this; Since Jesus went to prepare a place for us. Will we be sequestered for the 70th Week in the mansion as the OT brides where or will we be able to watch the rest of prophecy fulfilled from our mansion room window?
Why Warn Us If We Won’t Be Here?
Published: August 5, 2014The church being gone, does not mean there will be no tribulation for Christians. The church being gone means that in order for the anti-christ to rule, the church must be gone, and Christ proven FALSE. The AntiChrist will perform miracles, die and raise up, just as Christ, and because of this people will believe in this new “Religion” of the AntiChrist. And if there was going to be a PRE rapture, why does Christ consistently warn us not take the mark of the beast?
Borders Of The Promised Land
Published: August 5, 2014I have some questions regarding the borders for Israel. I have looked for answers but haven’t come up with anything I feel real confident about as far as accuracy. Has Israel ever inhabited all the land that the LORD promised Abraham? Are they doing so now (minus the West Bank and Gaza of course)? If the war prophesied by Psalm 83 comes to pass in the manner we expect it to and Israel gains additional territory from what it has now would they then be in full possession of the LORD’s Promised Land? Assuming that they are not in full possession now: How would their gaining full possession affect End Times time tables?
