How Was He Crushed?
Published: October 29, 2014In Isaiah 53 it says He was crushed for our iniquities. I know the prophecies were very specific on what suffering Jesus was subjected to, the abuse, whipping, piercing & crucifixion, etc… but I don’t remember seeing anything about this part of the Prophecy. Would you please show me where this prophecy was fulfilled? Thank You & God Bless you and your ministry.
Pauline Dispensationalism
Published: October 29, 2014A friend is taking some on line Bible classes and said he just learned that Romans, 1, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and 1 & 2 Thessalonians were written to Gentiles. While Hebrews, James, 1,2,3, John, Jude and Revelation were all written to the circumcised Christians. He has been to several different Schools and is a relativity new Christian and still looking for what he believes.
Questions About Life And Death
Published: October 28, 2014Somewhere in the Bible it says God is love. If God is love why would there be a hell where he eternally torments people. Think about it. When a judge sentences you to jail he gives you a sentence that ends. You don’t rot in your cell until you die. And if a parent punished a child forever it would be considered cruel. Also Jesus died so that we could live, didn’t he? In hell you’re dead. And why would God need us to live if our spirit is immortal?
How Do You Know Jesus Was Referring To Our Generation?
Published: October 27, 2014I have been reading your posts on the possible date for the 2nd coming of Christ and have found that you reference Matthew 24:34 allot. I have been reading Matthew 24 through and when I reach verse 34 and Jesus mentions the generations it almost sounds like he is referring to the disciples generation and does not mention a generation after the rebirth of Israel. My question is how did you come up with the 1948 rebirth of Israel as the generation Jesus is talking about?
Defining The End
Published: October 26, 2014Your website is such a blessing to me. May God bless you for it because it has strengthened me in many ways. I have a question regarding Matt 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14). My question is this… can you define “the end” mentioned in Matt 24:14?
Reaching My Husband For God
Published: October 26, 2014My husband is an atheist, or an agnostic at best. He equates God’s relationship with us as slave-like. He can’t accept that God would only give us two options: choose Him and live forever in Heaven, or deny Him and suffer eternally in Hell.
How do you try to explain to a non-believer (I am a born-again Christian) why God would make us suffer eternally if we deny Him as our Creator and Jesus as our Savior? He acts like it is ridiculous that God would make us suffer just because we don’t believe in Him.
Are There Two 70th Weeks?
Published: October 25, 2014I saw a video where a man took Daniel 9:24-27 and used his knowledge of coming lunar and solar eclipses to determine that the missing 70th Week cannot be the same as the 7 year covenant with Israel. Would you take a look at this and give me your opinion?
False Teachers?
Published: October 25, 2014If people say they believe in Jesus as John 6:29 states, “believe in the one He has sent” but then turn around and deny God’s promises to Israel, or Bible prophecy, would they be examples of Jesus saying “I never knew you?” There are several teachers I’m aware of who claim Jesus as their Savior, and I think in their heart, they really believe Jesus is the Son of God. But then they turn other parts of the Bible around to suit their own opinions. Are they considered to be false teachers?
The Queen Of Heaven
Published: October 25, 2014Who are the Queen of Heaven, Queen of Sheba and Queen of the South, who Jesus spoke of in Matt. 12:39-42? I understand that the Catholics pray to Mary as the queen of heaven, but I have never read any scripture that conveys that she should be prayed to or considered the queen of heaven. One thing I read suggested that the queen of the south and the queen of Sheba are the same person. If you could just clear up who these people/persons are, that would be great.
Millennial Saints
Published: October 24, 2014After the judgments that follow the Second Coming, believing survivors from the Great Tribulation will go into the Millennial Kingdom in their natural state and have children. Of those millions of children, some will believe and be saved; others will not. During the thousand years, many believers and nonbelievers will die. What will happen to their souls after death? They can’t go to the New Jerusalem. So, where will they be until the Great White Throne resurrection and judgment?
