Daniel 11:31-33, History Or Prophecy?
Published: November 12, 2014Will the rapture take place before the event mentioned in Daniel 11:31-33,which talks about the church falling by the sword, and being burned, captured, or plundered?
Is God A Spirit Or Not?
Published: November 12, 2014I always thought that God was a spiritual form only but after reading one of your commentaries it stated that when God was living in the Holy of Holies the high priest would visit with him once a year and a rope would be tied around his ankles to pull him out if he displeased God to keep God from destroying him if he sinned in his presence. This indicates to me that God was in human form at this time. Is this correct?
Daniel In The Critic’s Den
Published: November 12, 2014When was the book of Daniel written down? Was it written by Daniel or someone else? You said that chapter 11 was the most heavily verified chapter in the Bible. Can you explain to me how it was verified?
The Ministry Of The Two Witnesses
Published: November 12, 2014I am interested in the chronology of the events in Revelation. We know the abomination of desolation occurs at the mid point of the tribulation. When do the two prophets start their ministry?
Explaining Luke 21:36
Published: November 12, 2014Can you explain Luke 21:36 to me? Maybe it is for Israel in the Tribulation, but I always wonder when I read it if we are supposed to pray about this. It makes it sound as if we may not go in the rapture before the Tribulation if we don’t pray about it. I’ve never heard anyone explain this verse that I can remember.
What Does Deny Mean?
Published: November 10, 2014in 2 Tim 2:12 says that if we deny Jesus and He will deny us. In what sense is denial meant? Does this include believers, or just those who reject salvation through faith in Jesus?
Will The Anti-Christ Know?
Published: November 10, 2014Will the Antichrist know who he is? Does he have free will and just chooses to be indwelt by Satan?
Asking God To Forgive Others
Published: November 10, 2014I have read here and there in a few of your answers (the most recent being 8/31/09 Am I wrong to be angry) that we can ask God to forgive another’s sin. Could you tell me where that is in the Bible? I find it hard to comprehend that I can ask God and He will forgive another’s sin even though that person has not repented. What if they are not a believer? Can I still ask and how does that work?
Is God Being Fair?
Published: November 9, 2014Every now and then, we hear news about a Muslim or other faith person, who did not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but then, they had a dream or vision where Jesus appeared to them, and there after they believed in Him. I know that Father God is sovereign and can do as He pleases. But, I also know, that He is Just. Therefore could it be expected, that one person is obliged to live by faith alone and not by what he sees, but another person gets supernatural “help” to believe, through an appearance, or a dream? Would that be fair to us other mere mortals, who must rely on faith alone, because we have not super naturally seen?
Abraham’s City
Published: November 9, 2014I have a question about Abraham in Hebrews 11:10: “For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God”. Every time I read something you’ve written about The New Jerusalem being the permanent home of the Church and only the Church, that verse always comes up in my mind. How do I rectify Abraham looking for a city whose maker and builder is God? Is this city that he is looking for the same city we, the church, will occupy? If so, is Abraham part of the church too?
