Did Jesus Die For Everyone?
Published: January 10, 2015If God knows the end before the beginning, he knows who is going to accept salvation through His Son Jesus before they are born. Is it fair to say that Jesus died on the cross, not for everybody, but only for those who He, the Father, and the Holy Spirit knew in advance?
Yes You’re Saved, But …
Published: January 10, 2015My question is if you are a real born again believer and are in a back slidden state, will you go in the rapture, is your salvation secure, and do you have the spiritual authority to do spiritual warfare against the enemy and demons in particular if you are back slidden? My 20 year old daughter who is on fire for the Lord is constantly questioning my salvation because of the situation I am in and just doesn’t understand why I can’t get out of it “If I love the Lord and have faith in him”.
I hate where I am and I pray with tears all the time. I believe He is working out His plans for me and that He will get me straight and that I wouldn’t feel conviction if I didn’t have the Holy Spirit, but she makes me feel that at some point, His patience will run dry and that will be the end for me.
I know I am wrong for being in this backslidden state to begin with for my choices but I do love the Lord and I want to change and get things back on track with my life in the Lord. What do you have to share with me? I don’t just want someone to agree with me, but someone who will speak biblical truth to me from an objective standpoint.
Fathers And Children
Published: January 10, 2015Thank you for the blessing of Biblical truth you make available to us. I wanted to know if a father’s role of spiritual leading and teaching ends when children become adults (18)?
Having Rejected The Gospel, Can They Be Saved?
Published: January 9, 2015I thoroughly enjoy your website. It is a blessing to me. My question is if people hear the gospel and reject it before the rapture, will they be able to change their mind and accept Christ after the rapture? I have read commentaries that say it will be too late for them, and only those who have never heard the gospel will be able to get saved. What scriptures do you have to back up your belief?
When Is Satan Cast Out Of Heaven?
Published: January 9, 2015How can you say that Satan has not been thrown out of heaven yet. If you read Genesis thru Revelation we are taught that he has already been cast down. What you are talking about? Please help me understand.
History Of The Apostle John
Published: January 9, 2015What does history say about John the Beloved’s family? From what town was he born? And since he was there when Andrew met Jesus, do you suppose he came from the same location as Andrew?
What To Do About Church
Published: January 9, 2015My wife and I have been lifelong members of a denominational church that has recently embraced the homosexual lifestyle and is proclaiming that Christ is not the only way to eternal life. This has caused us to stop attending. We just don’t know what to do. All we want to do is love and worship our Lord. Scripture is clear, homosexuality is a sin, and Jesus is the only way to the Father. Do you have any suggestions on how a believer can sort this all out and make the right decision?
Our Next Life
Published: January 9, 2015The Bible says that in the Millennium the old things will not be remembered. What, exactly, constitutes the ‘old things.? I’d like to see, up close and personal, the great events of history; the life of Jesus, the Flood, the Creation, etc. Will all of that be forgotten? And yes, there are some earthly things that I really enjoy, sports, trains, Mexican food, etc. Will those things be forgotten as well? What about relationships? Will we have best friends, lovers, romance, dancing, etc? David said in Psalms that he desires nothing except God. Really? So, does that mean we’ll remember nothing of our life here and know only God?
Is This The Rapture Or The Second Coming?
Published: January 8, 2015I am confused about some of the teachings you’ve been sharing with us regarding the men in the field and the women at the mill in Mt. 24:40-41. Is this regarding the rapture or the 2nd coming? Can you explain it again?
Our Ultimate Purpose
Published: January 8, 2015Thanks for your great illustration regarding “the fullness of the Gentiles” from Romans 11:25 in which you wrote, “According to my research the phrase “full number” is a nautical term that describes the number of soldiers and sailors necessary to operate a ship under sail. The ship couldn’t sail until they had the full number of crewmen. Once the full number was reached, off they went…” Obviously, God is waiting for that specific number to be reached before He calls us home. My question is what will the purpose of the church be once that number has been reached?
