Published: September 28, 2018
Q

Do you agree with John 8:24 that you must believe Jesus is God to be saved? Jesus says in John 8:24 … “… if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” Please note: There is no “He” in the original Greek language.

Where Did Enoch And Elijah Go?

Published: September 28, 2018
Q

We’ve been reading your website for a few months now and we’ve learned a great deal about current events and how they relate to Biblical prophecy. We also enjoy your writing style and indepth approach to studying the Scriptures. My question is this: I know that before Jesus died for us, no one could go to heaven and be in the presence of God. Where did Enoch go when he was translated, and where did Elijah go when he was taken up into heaven? God bless you. We pray for you often.

Judah And Joseph

Q

I was wondering if there was any special reason the story of Judah and Tamar in Genesis 38 was put in there, it seems such an interruption of the story of Joseph and just doesn’t seem to fit.

Proverbs 31 Author

Q

My Sunday school class is beginning a quick study in Proverbs. My teacher asked if I could summarize Proverbs 31 in a couple of weeks so I am doing some research. I have found a couple of ideas as to the identity of King Lemuel and wondered what your take on this is. Some say that Lemuel was a “pet name” that Bathsheba had for her son, and this is her instructions to Solomon. Others I have read think that he is an unknown Jewish king, while others say that he was a king long before Solomon – possibly someone from Ishmael lineage. I would really like to have your opinion. Thank you for your ministry, I learn so much.

But what if: the village without walls is attained thru deception and pressure and Yisrael leaves itself totally open to attack by bowing to the pressure to pacified the Edomites?

Believe Or Accept?

Published: September 26, 2018
Q

What is the difference between believing and accepting? I’ve always thought I am saved because I believe Jesus died for my sins. But I hear others say they’re saved because they’ve accepted Jesus as their Savior. Is there a difference?

OSAS, Really?

Q

Several times you’ve said we’re saved forever and nothing can change that. Doesn’t that mean that Christians are free to do whatever they want without fear of any consequences?

What Did Job’s Friends Do Wrong?

Published: September 25, 2018
Q

My question is, why was God so angry at Job’s friends?I find helpful and good what they said about God. What wasn’t correct in their speeches about Him that angered the Lord? And why He complimented Job in the end contrary to His friends?

Bypassing Jesus

Published: September 25, 2018
Q

I’ve been noticing in these trying times that there is a lot of “God talk” with regards to inspirational sayings, quotes, etc. and obviously a lot of Facebook pages about God. My question is, can people be saved by “bypassing Jesus” when directly praying to God? Does God recognize their sincerity of wanting to be saved but without accepting Jesus as their Savior?
