The Larger Earth Theory

Published: April 18, 2015
Q

I was at a home Bible study the other night and the topic of the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven came up. The leader of the study said the (new) Earth will be many times larger than it is now in order to accommodate this vast structure. I had never considered that option and always thought as you do that the city will be more like a satellite in orbit. Later I happened to read an article that suggested the same thing. It seemed strange to have never heard of this and then hear it twice within a week. What are your thoughts on this “larger earth” theory?

OSAS … Again!

Published: April 18, 2015
Q

I am an Ordained Minister of the Gospel and I must admit, I have used much of your teaching in my messages! One of the questions I’m commonly asked is about OSAS. This first occurred when a member of my church asked me if that meant she could “Commit murder and still be saved and go to heaven.” I have also been told by critics of OSAS that this is a license to sin. I have been reading your books and commentaries on this interesting subject and must admit that you have changed my mind and I thank you. However, what is to keep some one who is saved from turning his/her back on Jesus and “going astray”?

Did Jonah Die?

Published: April 18, 2015
Q

Recently we were having a bible study on the book of Jonah and as I read the book I believe it to say that Jonah was alive in the belly of the fish that swallowed him. The instructor claimed that Jonah died in the fish & was essentially “buried” for three days, thus being a precursor to Christ. I believe that he was alive for the three days & nights, how else could he have prayed to God out of the fish’s belly?

Did He Remember The Dream Or Not?

Published: April 18, 2015
Q

In the King James Version of Daniel 2:1-11, it says that Nebuchadnezzar had forgotten the dream that so troubled him. However, in the New International Version, it suggests that he did not forget the dream but instead did not trust his wise men to render an accurate interpretation. Therefore, in order to be sure they got it right, he required that they tell him the dream and the interpretation. This raises a red flag of discrepancy between the two versions. Can you help clarify the difference?

Becoming All Things To All People

Published: April 18, 2015
Q

Can you explain what the context and meaning is of 1 Corinthians 9:19-23? In this day and age so many Christians are being influenced by the culture rather than Christians influencing the culture. They seem to have this need to be “relevant” in this world. Jesus wasn’t “relevant”. Are these verses addressing evangelizing?

Why Would The Jews Return To Israel?

Published: April 18, 2015
Q

What could possibly happen to bring the wealthy American Jews back to Israel ? Since the Anti-Christ seems friendly at first to the Jews I don’t see a national movement or persecution against the Jews, as Germany did prior to World War ll, nor do I see Israel becoming wealthy overnight a driving force for mass migration to Israel and besides Israel does not have the infrastructure or land to support millions more and lets face it Israel is already overcrowded and I see it to be an ugly country.

The Birth Pangs Are Here!

Q

When asked about signs of his return Jesus spoke of men being lovers of self, children not obeying their parents, earthquakes in diverse places, weather phenomenon and more. I see so much of that happening today, and now with the friendship between Iran and Russia, as well as the rise of Islam, (leading to Ezekiel 38-39) how would you compare Jesus’ words to what we see in society today?

The Time Of The Anti-Christ

Q

Will Christians be present on the earth at the time the anti-Christ appears? Does the anti-Christ appear before or after the Rapture?

Is There Ever Really An End?

Published: April 17, 2015
Q

During the Millennium it seems in a way that it starts all over. I understand that believers taken up in the rapture will already be in Heaven with God eternally, but it seems that on earth life just starts all over with the Millennium. Almost like it started with Adam and Eve, but with many people, instead of just two. People again will have to choose God or Satan and again there will be a rebellion that ends in judgment. What do you think? Is there ever really an end, or is this just a never ending cycle?
