Excluded From Heaven?

Published: June 5, 2015
Q

I was wondering if you could please give me some insight as to where the scriptures back up the belief of not entering Heaven if you are married to a person who has been married before and the person they were married to still being alive.

I have been married for almost 10 years to a man that has divorced 2 times in the past. However, I am told that since the 2 women he had married before are still alive, this makes me an adulteress because technically in the eyes of God, his wife is really the first lady he had married.

We are both saved now and have been for almost 3 years, I do not want anything to be in the way of my going to Heaven or his. Could you please help me to understand this better.

Are Soul Mates Biblical?

Published: June 4, 2015
Q

I would like to ask you about your opinion on Soul Mates. Is it a purely Romantic notion, or is it a God Ordained one? I know we’re at the brink of the Rapture and the way the world is going you can tell that everything is coming to an end quickly. However I am still very young and wish to find someone I can cleave unto. Should I stop praying for love and focus on the Lord?

Soul Mates

Q

What is your opinion of the idea that our soul is androgynous when created. And that before our soul is placed in our mother’s womb, it is split into male and female. We become one part and someone else becomes the other part. Therefore, finding our one true love is the actually reunification of our soul. Making the two into one again. I think that is a beautiful thing to believe. But does rejoicing in that belief make it so?

Ark Of The Covenant

Q

I was recently in a discussion regarding the discovery of the ARK OF THE COVENANT. The person I was talking with said that it had been discovered by a man named Ron Wyatt. What is your take on this? If the Ark had actually been found wouldn’t there be national news about it? I would really appreciate any information you can give me. Thank You for all your efforts and GOD bless you!

Forgiving Myself

Q

I have been troubled for quite some time. I committed the sin of fornication before I married the man I’m now with although I’ve confessed my guilt and sin to God time and time again I still feel at times some regret over this sin in my life and feel unworthy. Please help! What can I do to completely let go of this regret.

Observing History, More Follow Up

Q

Re: Observing History. What do you think about Isaiah 65:17? My pastor, a godly man who faithfully preaches verse by verse each week, says that in Heaven we won’t remember anything about our past lives. I think we’ll remember everything but with God’s perspective on everything.

Unforgivable Sin, Follow Up

Published: June 3, 2015
Q

Re: Matt. 12:31. I have always understood the unforgivable sin as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, because when Christ was on earth, the religious leaders were attributing his miracles to demonic powers when they were the product of the Holy Spirit.

Are There Other Gods?

Published: June 3, 2015
Q

The 1st commandment says you shall not have any other Gods before him. Does that mean that there are other Gods but we should just not worship them. Me personally I only believe in the God that wrote the commandments. If our earth is only about 6,000 years old and God has been here forever what did he do before those 6,000 years? Thank you

Blessed But Not Married

Q

Why does it seem as though God is blessing many Christian relationships who are having premarital sex? I know there are plenty of failed and broken families that occur. But there are others where professing Christians (who claim Jesus as their Savior and that He is the only way) are so happy and joyful about a pregnancy in their committed, yet unmarried relationships. I know God doesn’t “discipline” the unsaved, but where is the discipline for those who are His children? What about the principles of sowing and reaping?

Is Being An Introvert A Sin?

Published: June 2, 2015
Q

I read an article today about people who are introverts. The description of this seems to fit my personality very much. I stumbled onto your site a few years back and when I read the articles, I feel I want to find a Bible believing church but I have much trouble interacting with people. I never seem to be able to contribute to chit chat conversations, unless the subject is something I am interested in. It’s very awkward for me. In fact, the only time I feel lonely is when I am around people. Now I think this is more sin in my life. Do you have any thoughts on this?
