What do you think about the Supreme Court’s ruling on same sex marriage?

Number Specific Rapture Timing

Published: June 26, 2015
Q

You have said, “I believe the Rapture is based on reaching a specific number of believers rather than a specific date.”

You keep saying that as though it is mutually exclusive; the number comes in on a certain day, and on a certain day, the number is full.

Isaiah 60 And The New Jerusalem

Published: June 26, 2015
Q

I have been reading your posts about the new Jerusalem and the light that it will afford to the earth. This morning I was in Isiah 60.  Do verses 19 onwards foretell this event, the new Jerusalem affording light to the earth?  The last verse 22b is awesome, “I am the LORD; in its time I will hasten it”  Amen, come Lord Jesus!

God’s Will Or Ours? Follow Up

Published: June 26, 2015
Q

Re: God’s Will Or Ours?  Exactly how does one go about submitting our will to God? I feel like I’ve done this through prayer, telling him I’m submitting my will to Him,  but nothing seems to happen, that I can tell. What should we expect when we do this? What am I missing?

Our Kinsman Redeemer

Q

The language of the KJV of Heb 2:16 centers on Christ being made of the seed of Abraham through David yet most of the modern versions read totally different saying God gives no assistance to angels but does to the children on men. I have consulted the interlinear bible and must say the KJV seems true to the original. Can you enlighten me as to where they get the current interpretation from?

Is Psalm 83 On The horizon?

Published: June 25, 2015
Q

Do you think the tinder box in the Middle East might burn out of control again soon? With possibly another ground excursion on the horizon against Hamas and now with Hezbollah possibly getting involved in the north, could we see Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 come to pass quite soon? Will Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 come before or after the Rapture? Or can it go either way? On the one hand if Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 did come to pass before the Rapture, does that mean we are on the fast-track to the Rapture and the Tribulation?

More On What Does It Take?

Q

Re: What Does It Take? If a person does not believe Jesus is God, are they not believing in another Jesus? Jesus said He was God. One of Satan’s constant attacks has been that Jesus IS NOT God. Does this not prove that belief in the deity of Christ is necessary for salvation, as Satan is always trying to lead people to ‘another gospel’ and ,therefore, down the wrong path to salvation?

More On Hosea 6 And The 2nd Coming

Q

Re: Hosea 6:2 And The 2nd Coming. I too had thought that Hosea’s 2 days might mean the Lord’s second coming would be after 2000 years. It obviously couldn’t be 2000 years after His birth, but it could be 2000 years after His Ascension, a time that has not yet come. What are your thoughts on this?

The Devasting Consequences Of Ignorance

Published: June 25, 2015
Q

Re: Fulfilling God’s Will? You said, “Because of this they were completely ignorant of the signs of the times in which they lived, and rejected the King they had been waiting over 2000 years for. Sadly, much of the “church” has made the same mistake and for the most part is just as ignorant of the signs of our times. The results will be just as devastating.”

It’s true and a bit depressing that comparatively few Christians are interested in studying the prophesies of His return, and I understand how devastating that was for Israel to pay no attention to the evidence. They still suffer the judgmental consequences. Can you please explain your last statement as to how ignorance in the church will be just as devastating?

God’s Will Or Ours?

Re: Offering ourselves as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). If we have no free will or individual desire (see Psalm 20:4 & 37:4) then aren’t we limiting Gods gift of imagination and intellect? Are you saying there is no room for individual aspirations? In an intimate relationship with God isn’t it the spirit that actually places desires and aspirations within our hearts and minds and then gives us the ability to attain those goals? Do you believe God does not want us to have personal desires? Do you believe our desires are in conflict with the the efforts of the indwelling spirit of God?
