Time Limitations

Published: June 29, 2015
Q

You mentioned in one study that all physical beings are bound by time and that therefore we, being physical, could only look backward and not see into the future.  I’ve always been taught that Satan cannot know the future, yet I believe he is spirit, and therefore, according to you and I guess Einstein, he should also not be bound by time. Yet I do not believe Satan can see the future or he would never have allowed our Lord to be crucified. Can you give me any insights?

How Do I Know When God Is Testing Me?

Published: June 29, 2015
Q

When you’re facing a horrible, trying event in your life, how do you know if it’s a trial or testing from the Lord or not? I know that He allows us to go through things for various reasons, for example, to draw us closer to Himself, to grow as children of God, etc.  But how do we know when it’s not from Him? When that instinct is telling us, no this is not right, how do we know if that instinct is correct and from the Lord or if it’s just selfish human nature trying to steer us away from what the Lord wants for us?

How Long Is Half An Hour In Heaven?

Published: June 29, 2015
Q

Your site is much appreciated, and I have recommended it to many friends. Rev. 8:1 says that “…there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.” How does this verse fit with a timeless Heaven, i.e. time doesn’t exist.

Married, Without Children

Published: June 29, 2015
Q

I am a Christian and my husband is Muslim. We’ve been married almost 6 years now. We’ve both always wanted children, but have been avoiding it for the obvious reasons of how they will be raised morally and religiously. Neither of us want to budge either way. What does the Bible say about marriage issues such as this?

Seven Churches Question

Published: June 28, 2015
Q

I believe that I have been very blessed and have always been in churches that would be considered to be Evangelical, Bible Believing (literal word) and are in the church of Philadelphia. As I read the letters to the Churches in The Book of Revelation, am I correct in believing that in all seven churches there may be individuals who are of the church of Philadelphia (truly saved); and also there may be individuals within the church of Philadelphia who are not saved?

Are They Saved?

Published: June 28, 2015
Q

Without mentioning any names, some famous people who claim to be Christians have said they believe Jesus died for their sins but do not believe that Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Are these people saved?

OSAS And Luke 8:13

Published: June 28, 2015
Q

I have yet another question regarding OSAS. I own a bible that has commentary from a well known preacher. I was reading through the book of Luke. In particular, my question is, what is your interpretation of Luke 8:13. The commentary from this preacher on this particular verse, states basically that this verse refutes the doctrine of unconditional eternal security.

Advice On Praying

Published: June 28, 2015
Q

When I pray I almost always pray in my mind and not aloud. Is it necessary to pray aloud and does it make any difference? Also should you pray on your knees when praying? Is there any scripture to support any of this? I would like to be most effective when praying and should think it’s how sincere you are and what you’re praying for that counts.

Will Daniel’s 70th Week Begin This Year?

Published: June 27, 2015
Q

How soon do you think the period known as “Daniel’s 70th week” could possibly come (worst case scenario)?  Is there any feasible way that it could occur as early as 2015?  Doesn’t 2016 or 2017 sound more plausible?

Pure Motives?

Published: June 27, 2015
Q

I have a question about salvation that is basically about motives and where we place God. Should a person question their salvation if they do indeed love God, but a lot of the time love other things or people above Him? And what about when people first get converted, but their joy and delight are more in the benefit of being saved, than in God’s character in saving them. Because these motives are present, should a person question their salvation?
