What Was Important About Moses’ Body?

Published: August 5, 2015
Q

Today I read that God buried Moses’ body in Moab, but later in scripture we find that Michael fought for the body of Moses.  How can this be? What good is a lifeless corpse?

Getting Right With God

Published: August 4, 2015
Q

I’m curious, how can a believer be sure he will be glorified in the last day? Does a believer have to be without sin, fear when he dies or is raptured? I hear preachers all the time say a person has to make sure things are right with God before He comes. What do you think about this?

The Great White Throne Judgement?

Published: August 4, 2015
Q

I have a question regarding the Great White Throne Judgement. I would like to know the point of this judgement. If people who have rejected Christ in life and are currently in Hell awaiting the second death along with all those in the tribulation who have rejected him, then why have this judgement if they are already going to the lake of fire? It says in scripture that Hell gave up all her dead and they all faced judgement, but I do not understand the point of it.

Can We Avoid Hardship?

Published: August 4, 2015
Q

In your study of  Hebrews, you mentioned 3 things that can cause hardship: consequence of sin, the evil world, and being out of fellowship with God. What would God’s discipline (training, learning) look like if these 3 items were not present in our lives? Also, is there any way for us to avoid hardship due to the evil world?

Confirming The Covenant

Published: August 4, 2015
Q

Daniel 9:27 uses the word “confirm”:

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate”. (King James Version)

Question: do you think the word “confirm” is a hint that this covenant will be made two times, and that the antichrist will take part the second time by confirming it, maybe after Ezekiel 38-39?

Why Doesn’t The Bible Mention Islam?

Published: August 4, 2015
Q

Given that Ishmael was a son of Abraham, God promised that he, also, would be great.  Yet, there is no mention in prophecy of the rise of Islam, growing from the people of Ishmael, and becoming the worlds greatest religion, second only to Christianity; and destined to become the world’s largest religion after the Rapture of the Church.  Why is that?

Q

After years of training and preparation, our daughter was abruptly passed over for a paid position at our church because someone thought she may be suffering from generational sin. My question is do born again Christians continue to suffer from generational sin?
