Are The Demons Getting Ready?

Published: August 27, 2015
Q

In Mat 8:29 the demons asked Jesus if He came to torment them before the time. This tells me they may not know the day or hour that Christ returns but they might know when the tribulation starts. If so, the speed at which evil is unfolding causes me to think they do know and have increased demonic activity to meet the appointed time. Any thoughts?

The Lukewarm Laodiceans and The Prodigal

Published: August 27, 2015
Q

In a recent article about the Laodiceans you  said you don’t think a true believer can become lukewarm.

I know I wasted many years after I was saved, doing what I wanted to do instead of growing mature in the Lord as I should have done. Yet God has pulled me back now, and I am striving to die to my old self, and fully go forward as God always intended me to do.

But all those “off” years, I was lukewarm! God’s Grace brought me back to Him again.  Are you saying the Prodigal Son would have gone to Hell if he never came Home ?

Has He “Out Sinned” God’s Grace?

Published: August 27, 2015
Q

I have a friend who thinks that he has out-sinned God’s Grace  because he no longer feels or hears the Spirit anymore. He has had a long walk with the Lord. Is there any way to explain what has happened to him?

Bond servants

Published: August 27, 2015
Q

After seeing a recent posting on Q&A, I read 2 Tim 2 again and it got me thinking. Is Timothy a bond servant of God being a pastor? Is it correct to say not all believers are bond servants of God? Is there a difference between servants and bond servants? Is there a special calling? What happens to servants? Thanks so much. My learning has sped up so much reading the Q&A and your articles!

A Day Or A Season?

Published: August 27, 2015
Q

As soon as the Fig Tree’s twigs start to get tender, the day in Matthew 24:32-51 and Mark 13:28-36 is at the very doors. If the fig Tree is the nation of Israel, how can its twigs just start to get tender at the day of the second coming? The Fig Tree will be decimated in the second half of the tribulation. Closer to the end of the tribulation, in Daniel 12:7 the power of the holy people will be finally broken. How can it’s twigs just start to be getting tender? Is it not a better fit that this time is where the blindness of Israel is going to start to be removed?

When Do We Begin Counting?

Published: August 27, 2015
Q

If the 6000 year old creation theory is correct when do we begin counting? Do we begin with creation or when Adam left the garden?   Did Adam start counting his age when he was created or rather when he lost immortality.

Simple Prayers

Published: August 26, 2015
Q

Occasionally, some need or situation will arise and I’ll feel a real intense need to stop everything and pray. After a few seconds, that sense will vanish. Once when this happened I kept praying, but it felt forced. At this point, the scripture came to mind, “don’t keep babbling like a pagan, the father is not impressed with your countless words”. So I stopped and went back to reading my Bible. Can you help me with this, or share some insight?

Am I Messing With Grace?

Published: August 26, 2015
Q

I know I am saved by God’s grace thru faith in what Christ accomplished on the cross. But how do we separate law and grace? Spiritually speaking we want to do what we know we should do, but how do we avoid thinking that it’s part of our salvation? In other words, how do I go on living “right” without messing with grace?

Witnessing And Evangelizing

Published: August 26, 2015
Q

When we have company over  I always want to “share the gospel”. How does one go about sharing it without sounding like a sales person, without sounding pushy, or gushy or lovey dovey, and without making them feel guilty? I try and get a “I thank God and believe in Jesus” every chance I get but I feel compelled to want and say more. Is it the flesh “wanting” to do more or is it the Holy Spirit prompting me to say and do more? Typically, when I try to do more, I end up stickin’ the old foot in the mouth.

End Of Birth Pangs, Beginning Of Labor

Published: August 26, 2015
Q

In the natural order of things, “birth pangs” have a foregone conclusion — progression to true labor, resulting in the birth of a child. Given that the “pangs” appear to be increasing in frequency and intensity worldwide, what event or events, according to Scripture, will signify that the “pangs” are over, and labor has begun in earnest?
