Should I Stay Or Leave?
Published: September 17, 2015When I got married I made a commitment before God to make my wife as happy as I could without being selfish, always trying to love her just as Jesus loved the church. Since both of our parent’s marriages ended in divorce, I was determined to make an extra effort. I know that we are human and we could never really accomplish that, but that’s the example that we’re supposed to follow.
Now it’s 6 years later, and I’ve become involved with another woman. I deeply care for my wife and children, but feel that I would just be sacrificing myself for their happiness while I don’t have the desire to be with my wife like I use to. I have not spoken to anyone about this, but I’m praying that I find someone that is unbiased and will not give me a “religious” answer, but Bible based counseling. I know that God forgives any sin and can restore my marriage, but I feel like I don’t want to try anymore. Right now I’m with my wife because I know that is what God wants, that people around me would suffer if I left, and that my pastor and leaders would be disappointed in me. About my children, I love them, but my parents stayed together for many years because of us and lived a very unhappy life until they finally got a divorce.
I’m not looking for the easy way out, but I also don’t want to live in an unhappy marriage. I have asked God for forgiveness and I know I have been forgiven, but I’m having a very difficult time knowing what direction to take. Please help me.
It’s His Kindness That Leads Us To Repentance
Published: September 15, 2015I feel like you’re saying a believer should never call a sin that someone may be doing, a sin. There is specific scripture regarding confronting a significant sin or sins that a member of the body may be involved with. And as far as sins by those who are not believers, if Christians don’t speak out, the unsaved will think “everything is OK; there is no real right or wrong”. Just sitting in our churches and waiting for the “convicted” to walk in is too easy. I still believe we have a responsibility to “call sins what they are, sins”, and of course with a heart and mind of humility and/or forgiveness if its we who were the victim.
Why Did God Judge Eve First?
Published: September 15, 2015Genesis says that God created man and gave him dominion over the earth. Later on in scripture the role and responsibilities of the man and father are further clarified in the lives of others when traditions and roles were defined and then recorded in scripture and advocated as “the law.” My question is this, having been created in God’s image and given dominion and if Adam was the man in charge, why did God approach Eve first in addressing original sin?
Which Prophesies Have Been Fulfilled?

Why Did God Afflict Job?
Published: September 14, 2015I have enjoyed Jack’s articles posted on Rapture Ready but I really have problem with the following excerpt from the article “A Question We’ve All Asked“.
“The Book of Job is an example of the difference between Union and Fellowship. Job’s righteousness made him proud, a sin in God’s eyes. When Satan asked to torment him, God had to agree in spite of the fact that Job was one of the most righteous men on Earth, because he hadn’t confessed his sin. As long as Job relied on his own righteousness he was vulnerable to attack, and none of his complaints could change that, even though he remained a child of God. When he confessed, God put a stop to the torment and restored him.”
Please tell me the scripture reference where it says that Job’s righteousness made him proud. You are teaching in great contradiction to a very large body of Christian work and commentary when you propose that Job was living in unrepentant sin and that was the cause of Satan’s attacks. Wow, you amaze me! You will not find scriptural justification for your comments unless you work hard to squeak it out of the sermons of Job’s 3 friends whom God rebuked and Job prayed for in the end.
What do I do with Job 1:8 where God Himself says “have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth–a man of complete integrity. He fears God and will have nothing to do with evil.” How am I to ascertain that Job was proud — it’s not there Jack. If God says he had complete integrity how does that jive with your comment that he was proud. You error.
While most of your writings seem right on this comment about Job is quite alarming. You have wandered quite a ways from the truth in order to illustrate a point in the article that could have easily been illustrated with other Bible anecdotes. I hope you correct your thinking on this—and your writings which are wrong.
Refiner’s Fire
Published: September 14, 2015I recently heard a sermon where the pastor said we have to go through the refiner’s fire for God to grow us in faith. I’m having a problem with this, can you explain to me whether or not this is right? Thank you so very much for your ministry. It has helped me a great deal. God bless you.
Life in the New Jerusalem
Published: September 14, 2015First of all let me say thank you for such wonderful work. May God’s blessings be upon you Mr. Kelley. Mr. Kelley if we, the Church, are in the New Jerusalem do you think we will never go to see the New Earth? I have always been under the impression we would rule the Earth during the Millennium with Jesus. I will be grateful that I’m in Heaven but I would be kind of disappointed if we don’t get to descend to Earth every now and then. What do you think we will be doing those 1000 years in the New Jerusalem? Sorry if these are dumb questions but I look forward to your response. Thank you and God bless.
Can Demons Prevent our Salvation?
Published: September 14, 2015Is it possible for someone not to obtain salvation because of demons? If one asks the Lord to save them, and they have demons or are oppressed by demons, could they not recieve salvation?
Belief in the Rapture
Published: September 14, 2015I’ve heard it said that it is only the western (read American) church that promotes the idea of the pre trib rapture. Is this true? Do you know the position that Messianic Jews or the middle eastern believers take?
Different Salvation Messages?
Published: September 14, 2015In Mat.3:2 John urges people to convert. Was it from the Law to Jesus as the Messiah, seeing that the message of salvation was not yet “available”? And when Jesus sends out the disciples in Matt.10 it is with the same message, but here too, the full message, to which people are converting today, was not yet fulfilled. When Jesus in Mat.28 sent them out to evangelise, the way of (to) salvation was clear. Could you please tell me what the message of the first two instructions was?
