Is Rev. 12 About The Church?
Published: December 6, 2016Please explain Revelation 12, verse 6. Is this the church during the tribulation period?
Seven Thunders
Published: December 6, 2016What, in your opinion, was the content/nature of the seven thunders in the book of Revelation, that John was forbidden to record. The events of Revelation are quite terrifying. What could possibly be worse, so much so that the nature/content of the seven thunders is kept secret?
Qualifying Jesus As Israel’s King
Published: December 6, 2016There is something I want to ask my own church Minister, but never remember to when I see him.
In Mathew chapter 1 verses 1-17 it gives: The book of the generations of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham, showing that Jesus is a descendant of David. Mathew must have known that Joseph was the step-father of Jesus and therefore Jesus could not be a descendant of David through Joseph.
I think that I heard or read somewhere, many years ago, that Mary was also a descendant of David, but do not know if this is true. Is it mentioned anywhere in the Bible? I have not been able to find it.
Material Things In Heaven
Published: December 5, 2016Do you think there will be material things in heaven, and if so could you give examples? I have friends in Christ who have hobbies such as sewing, and we were wondering about this. Thank you for your great ministry and help.
A Predestination Question
Published: December 1, 2016I believe that have found several references in the new testament that indicate we as Christians are chosen by God to be born again Christians-not the other way around. Do you agree with this or am I way off base? Also, if I am correct I have read nothing in articles about this subject matter. Care to speculate why?
How Do You Know This?
Published: December 1, 2016I know you believe in a pre-trib rapture, but why would Christians living in the end times be spared from suffering when other generations of Christians have had to suffer for their faith?
Also isn’t it possible that we are living in tribulation times right now? (witness 2004 Tsunami, Kashmir earthquake, Hurricanes Katrina/Rita/Wilma) If the Church is raptured pre-tribulation then why are there still saints left to be persecuted (blood of the saints who bore testimony)during the tribulation?
And why does Thessalonians say that the righteous dead will be called up (at the 2nd coming) FOLLOWED by the living? How would the pre-trib disappearance of Christians (and only Christians) ever be explained to those remaining..especially family members who are not saved? Thank you for your wonderful service thru this website.
Fiscal Responsibility
Published: December 1, 2016I spend hours on the articles you present in your website and thank God for the so many things about the Bible that I learn from these. I also am grateful for you allowing for copies to be made of these articles, which I also find very helpful because I distribute these to my friends and also prepare sermons on them for my local church.
I have a question that I need some guidance from the Bible on, which I now ask you to kindly help give some answers to. What are the principles of God that govern the management or use of money by a Christian? I note that you refer to these as ‘Biblical admonitions for fiscal responsibility’ in your answer to a question under ‘Financial Debt & the Rapture‘.
Is This Fasting Or Not?
Published: December 1, 2016Hello again, still watching your web. Learning answers to a lot of topics I have wondered about for a long time. Every one is talking Fasting. I go to a church that does fasting different than I’ve ever heard. I believe that you give up food in some way or totally for as long as you feel God would exspect of you as an individual. I have heard that a person can fast things like giving up T.V or some kind of pleasure. I do not believe in this as to me it seems like one is giving up a sin that should not be in your life any way. What does the Word say? I really would like your thought on this. Maybe I am wrong. God Bless you and I’ll look for an answer.
Daniel 9 And Palm Sunday
Published: December 1, 2016In your article on Daniel’s 70 weeks, the bit that bothers me a little is the timing of Christ’s entry into Jerusalem. In your article on the second page, you state that the decree by Artaxerxes was made in March 445 BC, then “exactly 483 years after that the Lord Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey …” Putting these two figures together would make the year of our Lord’s death as 38 AD.
If Jesus was born around 2 BC, that would make him 40 years old. How does that figure with the usual age of 33 years at His death?
Thank you very much for your articles which I find relevant and thrilling. I live in Zambia and do quite a lot of Bible teaching myself in the local church. But if someone asked me about the missing 7 years and I didn’t have an answer, it would undermine the truth of the rest of the teaching, hence my question above.
Explaining Treasure In Heaven
Published: November 22, 2016Can you please explain what are the treasures in heaven we are supposed to store up according to Matt. 6:19-21?
