Should I Tell Her Everything?
Published: March 17, 2017I’ve had a great problem with lusting after women and really being a womanizer. I was unfaithful to my wife and our marriage was headed for divorce. At that time I got on my knees and cried out for mercy from God. He answered swiftly and restored my marriage (absolute miracle) and gave me another chance. I took a step in faith and confessed to my wife what I had been doing and she forgave me. But recently I’ve been fighting off thoughts that I have not been forgiven because I haven’t told my wife every single detail of what I’ve done. Your advice would be appreciated.
44 Commandments To Keep?
Published: March 17, 2017The Pastor on Sunday was teaching on Discipleship and how we can be better disciples for Christ, He was drawing from (an apparently popular book) I have never read or even heard of. The Pastor said that we needed to Love God with all of our Hearts, Minds and Souls, and that this is a commandment, which I agreed with. He went on to say in order to show God that we loved him we needed to follow and obey all of Jesus’ Commandments in the New Testament and he listed about 44 of them. He then said that if we do not follow these then we don’t love God and we aren’t saved. He even said that our salvation is based on a lot more than a little prayer we said when we accepted Christ.
Marital Strife And The Rapture
Published: March 17, 2017I married a man in our church a year ago. We have been in so much strife here lately that I have been considering leaving him. I just don’t want to be in strife and miss the Rapture. If I were in strife with my spouse could this cause me to miss the Rapture?
The Law Of Redemption
Published: March 16, 2017I have been reading your series on a study of Revelation. In your commentary on chapter 5, you state “God’s law requires that a next of kin redeem that which a family member has lost.” Where in scripture is this stated as God’s law? I ask because what you have presented fills many gaps for me. I just want to be able to back that up with scripture since it is the foundation of the point you present.
Are Aborted Babies In heaven?
Published: March 16, 2017Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” This verse is used to prove that one must be born again to see the Kingdom. But does it not also mean that one must be born the first time? If this is correct, doesn’t it mean that aborted babies are not in heaven?
Am I Forgiven Enough?
Published: March 16, 2017I believe in God and I consider myself a Christian. Jesus is in my heart and I pray for forgiveness every night. But in my past I’ve done some terrible things. Am I forgiven enough to go in the rapture? If so will my toddler come with me? And if she does, will we be in heaven together with her as my child? I have read that our children won’t be our children and we won’t know them anymore. That makes me very sad, is that true?
What Crown Did He Mean?
Published: March 15, 2017Regarding Rev. 3:11: “Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.” My question is which crown is this referring to? And what can be done to take the crown away?
Loss Of Purpose
Published: March 15, 2017Recently, I feel like I’ve lost my sense of purpose. Since I believe the Lord’s return is right around the corner, maintaining my current schedule seems pointless to me. I spend most of my time either working or studying – and it kills me to know that I could be spending this time with my family. I’ve talked to my wife about this, and she believes that I should continue doing what I have been doing, in case the end is not as close as I think. What’s your opinion?
Basketball In Heaven?
Published: March 14, 2017I remember where after Jesus was resurrected He ate fish with his new body and He still had fingers and toes and so on.My point is,He did not change into some type of ooze or blob etc.My 1st Question is,when we get to heaven,if I loved Basketball here, will I still be able to love it there and maybe play it? 2nd,Is it possible that if I played a Sport in Heaven my body may not get tired as easily as the one does here?Maybe extended amounts of energy because there is no sin nature that is killing our body throughout the day? After all,are not the things we see here copies of the REAL things in Heaven. Thanks for this Wonderful website!
Silent Prayer
Published: March 14, 2017In about 1980 everything seemed to be falling apart around me. Sitting alone in my living room, I prayed a silent prayer to God/Jesus for salvation and guidance. Do you think God recognizes and accepts silent prayer for his saving grace, or at any other time when one prays?
